The Invisible Luna’s Revenge Chapter 06

The Invisible Luna’s Revenge Chapter 06

On my way back to the pack house, I clutched the

antidote tight in my palm, sobbing uncontrollably

But I didn’t drink the whole thing right away. Not yet

anyway

I had to expose that devil for who he really was

I cleaned up the place quickly before Jack got back

Satisfied that the house wasn’t a mess anymore, he

relaxed visibly, dropping a pile of dirty clothes on the floor. Anna, I knew you’d come to your senses. You need me. I’m the only one who can fix this. Just be a good girl and wash these for me, yeah?”

His smug, selfsatisfied grin made my stomach turn

But for the sake of my plan, I held my tongue. I tossed his dirty clothes right into the trash, and after he kicked another woman out of his bed, I poured him a cup of warm water and set it on his nightstand

You heard everything I said, didn’t you, honey? He purred, proud as punch. This is the perfect Luna I’ve always wanted. I knew you’d remember your place. With that, he chugged the whole glass of water. Before long, he was snoring loud enough to shake the walls

I picked up his phone and scrolled through his contacts until I found the number I was looking for.

I found the Alpha named Ben who’d come over as

guest a few days earlier. He’d always had a relationship with Jack that was equal parts alliance and rivalry. I sent him the formula for the invisibility potion and explained my situation

I never doubted for a second that he’d turn me down

A potion that could make people invisibleeven the weakest wolf pack could easily win a war with it

Sure enough, after watching my video demonstration, Ben agreed to work with me

The next morning, Jack slept in. He stormed out of the bedroom furious. Anna! Why didn’t you wake me up?!He wrenched the closet door open, and the huge pile of trash and junk I’d stuffed inside came tumbling down like an avalanche, right on top of him. He froze there, covered head to toe in garbage. Then his face darkened. Looks like you still haven’t figured out your

place.”

I leaned against the doorframe, completely

blankfaced

I’ll deal with you when I get back!he snarled

He rummaged through the entire closet but couldn’t find a single clean shirt. The clothes rack on the balcony was completely empty. All his laundry was piled by the washing machine, reeking of sour mildew. In the end, he left wearing the one that smelled the least bad. Right before he walked out the door, he growled lowly, You’re gonna regret this.”

That night, he came back with a whole group of friends -all Alphas and Betas from his social circle. He’d hired a caterer, turning the kitchen into a total lively chaos

Alpha Jack, you’re in a pretty good mood today, huh?someone joked. Jack smiled and wandered through the apartment, opening every single doorbedroom, bathroom, everything

His Beta, Leo, frowned. Dude, you never even let us step foot in other rooms. What’s going on here?”

Jack didn’t answer

I knew exactly what he was planning

He wanted to expose me in front of everyone, to

humiliate me, break me.
