Glasses guy thought I was just shy.

He put his hands on my shoulders and pushed me down into the seat next to Caleb.

“I got you, man. You don’t have to come back to the dorm tonight.”

Kyle shot up.

He strode over, face dark, pulled me into his arms, and glared at Caleb.

“She’s your girlfriend again? Explain.”

I stared too.

“How am I your girlfriend again?”

Wasn’t that whole thing resolved ages ago?

“….”

Awkward silence.

No one spoke.

Glasses guy scratched his head.

“Huh? What’s going on?”

He pulled out his phone, scrolled through Caleb’s feed, and kept comparing my face to the photos.

“Isn’t she his girlfriend?”

I looked.

Caleb’s feed was set to three days visible.

Kyle’s smile was terrifying.

His knuckles cracked.

“Caleb. Speak.”

After a long silence, Caleb said flatly, “I had someone take them.”

Kyle let go of me and punched him.

“Have you been after her this whole time?”

Caleb turned his head, wiped the blood from his lip, and smiled scornfully.

“Guess.”

They started fighting.

Plates and glasses crashed everywhere.

I screamed, “Stop fighting!”
