Twelve-Year-Love With An Alpha, He Betrayed Me And Marked An Omega Chapter 10

Twelve-Year-Love With An Alpha, He Betrayed Me And Marked An Omega Chapter 10

## Nellie’s POV

I glanced over the wreckage of the party and prepared to leave as well.

The werewolf enforcers had just helped me find my mother’s remains.

I had to bring her home.

As if by silent agreement, a group of pack members moved together and blocked my path.

Naturally, Carrion stood at the front.

He looked at me with eyes full of regret, then dropped to one knee.

“I’m sorry, Nellie. Madeline deceived me, and I hurt you.”

“You’re going to bring Mrs. Vesper home, aren’t you? I’ll go with you. In my heart, I’ve long thought of her as my own mother. Come on. Let’s bring Mom home.”

Gladys Grimm wiped her tears and tried to persuade me with a grave, earnest expression.

“Please forgive Carrion. That Omega was just too good at pretending. As long as you forgive him, he’ll definitely make you the pack’s Luna in the future.”

The other friends began apologizing one after another.

“Nellie, we’re sorry.”

“Nellie, we truly didn’t know Madeline was this evil. Please forgive us,

all right?”

“You and Alpha Carrion loved each other for twelve whole years. How can you just end it? Give him one more chance. We’ll all support the two of you.”

I swept my cold gaze over their hypocritical, disgusting, nauseating faces.

The boyfriend I had loved for twelve years had been cheating on me for eight of them.

My best friend, Irinda, Gladys, whom I had respected, and the friends I had helped had all become Carrion’s accomplices.

From the moment Carrion betrayed me, and from the moment they knew the truth but chose to hide it from me, forgiveness had become impossible.

“Get out of my way.”

Those were the last words I gave them, cold and final.

They had enough sense to clear a path for me.

Without looking back, I left.

After I recovered my mother’s body, I took her back to the southern pack territory where my family had come from.

The small cabin had fallen into disrepair, but after I cleaned it thoroughly, it felt clean and alive again.

I left Nightfall Pack for good and became an instructor in this southern pack, training young pups.

There was no grand reason for it. I only stayed because this land still carried my mother’s presence, and that gave me peace.

Later, I could no longer remember how I heard the news about Carrion.

After a failed alliance, Nightfall Pack was hit hard by a much stronger pack and fell into crisis.

Carrion sold off all his assets and begged the Alphas of other packs to mediate on his behalf.

The man who had once stood so high above everyone became someone the entire forest avoided.

His friends, his pack members, and even his own sister all left him.

Not a single person was willing to stay and help him through the crisis.

With no other choice, Carrion fell from Alpha to an ordinary werewolf and had to beg other packs to take him in.

As for Madeline and Irinda, one was sentenced to twenty years in prison, and the other to fifteen.

By the time they were released, they would be old, weak werewolves, and no pack would be willing to take them in.

While I was lost in thought, a few little troublemakers at the training grounds hid in the shade of the trees, sneaking snacks.

My sharp gaze swept over them, and I confiscated the snacks one by one.

“When training is over, all of you are staying for extra drills.”
