My Parents Chose My Twin and Called Me Fake? Fine—I Found a Better Alpha Father! Chapter 07

My Parents Chose My Twin and Called Me Fake? Fine—I Found a Better Alpha Father! Chapter 07

For ten long years, Hannah kept inflicting harm on me without pause.

In the beginning, Mom and Dad were fair.

Same clothes. Same allowance.

Same birthday gifts. Even their love was split right down the middle.

Dad could no longer recall exactly when he and his wife started growing impatient with Leanna.

Was it the day Hannah tore up her own dolls and dresses, then stuffed the torn scraps into Leanna’s

closet to frame her?

Or when she locked Leanna inside the school restroom overnight with her clique, only to burst into

tears the next day and lie that Leanna had fooled around with male classmates?

Perhaps it was the time she deliberately tumbled down the stairs right in front of Leanna, then fled

into Mom’s arms, trembling violently as she stared accusingly at her sister.

Countless such incidents piled up, until the couple could barely remember them all.

All they could recall was that Hannah became the only one who stayed close to them, laughing and chatting happily by their side.

Hannah picked her gifts first.

Hannah got the first bite of dessert.

Pretty dresses went to Hannah, then to Leanna, but only after Hannah was done with them.

It all became the new normal.

A photograph lay among the case files.

On a stormy night, I stood trembling outside the pack residence, fever burning through my body, clutching a perfect score exam paper that ranked me first in grade.

Warm light spilled out from inside the house.

My parents sat closely around Hannah, who had scored merely ten points. They comforted her softly and spoiled her with the most expensive gifts to cheer her up.

Dad’s hands clenched. The paper crumpled in his grip. So this was the truth. In the home he thought was filled with love, Leanna had become a ghost. Invisible. Unimportant.

Year after year, my heart shifted from eager hope to weary acceptance, then sank into utter

numbness.

Once I craved boundless affection.

Later, I settled for just a little care.

In the end, all I wished for was a tiny safe corner to call my own.

Even this humble wish was never granted.

They granted Hannah’s birthday wish, letting her be the sole beloved daughter of the Blackwood

Pack for a whole year.

Yet they never stopped to ask what Leanna truly desired on her birthday.

Dad’s once straight back hunched over, and he broke down into bitter weeping.

Still, the truth turned out far crueler than they had imagined.

The assistant handed over his phone with a heavy heart.

“Sir, there is also a video recording you need to see.”

In the footage, Hannah picked up Dad’s phone and typed rapidly, sending messages straight to

Doyle.

The high-definition screen captured the vicious smirk spreading across her face.

“I’m handing this worthless girl over to you. Do whatever you want with her.”

“Never contact me again.”

“Dispose of her once you grow bored, and make sure she never returns to Blackwood Pack.”

After sending the messages, Hannah erased all chat records, then handed the phone back to Dad with an innocent grin.

A deadly silence hung in the car, broken only by the video looping.

Dad’s vacant eyes finally focused.

He handed the phone back.

His voice was eerily calm. “You can go.” “It’s Hannah’s eighteenth birthday party.” “I have to get

back. For the celebration.”

The original eighteen-tier birthday cake bore both Leanna and Hannah’s names.

Now only Hannah’s name remained carved on the frosting.

Hannah linked arms with her foster parents on either side, her eyes sparkling with feigned

innocence.

“Dad, Mom, is Leanna really never coming back?”

Her voice choked with fake sorrow, yet not a single tear fell from her eyes.

Dad nodded faintly.

“She is gone. From now on, you are our one and only daughter.”

Mom’s red-rimmed eyes stared hollowly into space.

“Let us not speak of her. Today belongs to our precious Hannah’s coming-of-age day.”

“You have officially grown into an adult.”

Cheers and well-wishes echoed nonstop around the hall.

Hannah savored her slice of cake, bathing in overwhelming joy.

Suddenly, the grand banquet doors were slammed wide open.

Pack investigators marched inside, their sights fixed firmly on Hannah.

Cold metal handcuffs snapped tight around her wrists, wiping the smile clean off her face.

She looked to Mom and Dad-they both took a step back.

Their eyes were on her, cold and full of hate.

Hannah understood.

She shoved the cake over.

The champagne tower toppled, glass shattering everywhere.

She screamed. She roared. She wailed.

Then she dropped to her knees, pounding her forehead against the floor until it bled.

This time, no one’s heart softened for her.

After all guests departed, the couple collapsed onto the floor, embracing each other and weeping bitterly.

Time dragged on until the assistant rushed over, voice brimming with urgency.

“Alpha, Luna! We’ve found news about Leanna!”
