Rejected by My Destined Mate, Now He Craves Me Chapter 15

When the car arrived at the Mooncrest Pack’s pack house, Selene was annoyed that no one opened her door for her. 

She had to push the door open herself, clutching her purse. 

Suddenly, someone grabbed her and dragged her out of the 

car. 

A thick black cloth was tied over her eyes. Terror flooded her 

heart. 

Selene screamed instinctively. “Who are you! Let go of me!” 

“I’m Zephyr’s mate! No one dares touch me!” Her voice was 

shrill. 

The man restraining her kicked her in the calf and growled. 

“Shut up. If you want to live, be quiet.” 

Hearing that, Selene stopped screaming and didn’t dare make 

another sound. 

After what felt like an eternity, Selene sensed she was being brought to an airtight place. The air around her felt thin. 

Zephyr walked up to her and tore the black cloth from her eyes. 

Selene flinched back. 

“What’s wrong? Why are you so scared? Or is it that you’ve done something wrong?” Zephyr held her chin, forcing her to 

look at him. 

Selene’s heart raced with guilt. “Zephyr, it’s you? Why did you have me tied up?” 

“Why do you think I’m doing this? You really have no idea?” Zephyr tightened his grip as he spoke. 

Selene felt her chin ache intensely. She couldn’t speak, only 

letting out a few muffled whimpers. 

Finally, Zephyr slowly released his hand. 

“Selene, are you still playing games with me?” 

“Have you forgotten what you did?” 

“Nova… where is she? Do you know?” 

At the mention of Nova, Selene became evasive. She coughed a few times before looking at Zephyr. “Mom and Dad planned her trip. How would I know?” 

Zephyr’s gaze remained flat. “You don’t know? Fine. Take a look at these. See if they look familiar.” 

Zephyr threw the phone onto Selene’s lap. 

She scrambled to pick it up. 

Looking at the messages she had sent, Selene felt a chill run through her body. 

She immediately started making excuses. “I just wanted her to stop wanting you. That’s why I sent those messages.” 

“I love you! Even if you found the wrong person, we’ve already formed a mate bond, haven’t we?” 

“So you admit it. You admit you drove her away?” 

The words were barely out of Zephyr’s mouth before Selene realized she had made a mistake. She clapped a hand over her 

mouth. 

Panic was written all over her face. 

Zephyr couldn’t take it anymore. He signaled his beta. The 

beta walked over and slapped her hard. 

Selene’s cheek swelled up instantly. Blood trickled from the 

corner of her mouth. 

“You’re a liar. Your whole family conspired against me and 

drove Nova away!” 

“Not to mention everything else. You manipulated everything, didn’t you? Selene, how could you be so cruel?” 

“Nova is your own sister!” 

Zephyr was getting more agitated. He grabbed everything 

within reach and hurled it at Selene. 

Bound and helpless, she couldn’t defend herself. 

Seeing Zephyr’s wrath, Selene gave up on pretending. 

“Zephyr, you call me cruel? Everything I did, I did with your 

tacit approval.” 

“Have you never done anything wrong to Nova? You say she’s 

my sister, but she’s the one you love.” 

“How come you didn’t recognize her either? You made her watch us together, day after day. Isn’t that your fault?” 

“Now that Nova is gone, you come after me? Zephyr, you’re a 

bastard!” 

Selene’s words enraged Zephyr, who was already furious.

He lunged at her, his hands closing around her throat like a madman. “Bitch! How dare you talk to me like that! I’ll kill 

you!” 

The overwhelming suffocation made her instinctively fight 

back. 

But no matter how she struggled, Zephyr didn’t relent. 

If anything, his grip only tightened. 

Seconds ticked by. Selene slowly stopped fighting. 

Her face was deathly pale, her body limp on the floor, completely motionless. 

She looked barely alive. Zephyr prodded her with his foot, confirmed she was breathing, and stopped. 

He picked up a silk handkerchief and wiped the blood from his 

hands. 

Then he gave an order to the person standing nearby. 

“Keep an eye on her. Just don’t let her die.”
