Who Is the Real Mafia Principessa Chapter 06

“Fine!!”

Elowen looked like she’d been stabbed. She tore herself from Mrs. Moretti’s arms, grabbed the small crab knife from the table, and pressed it against her wrist.

“Mom! Dad! Althea’s right! I overstepped! I took everything that belonged to her!” she screamed, sobbing hysterically.

“I have nothing left to give her… I’ll pay with my life!!”

“Elowen! Don’t!!” Mrs. Moretti’s shriek nearly shattered the ceiling. Her legs gave out, and she almost collapsed.

I didn’t even get to reply.

Crack!!

A brutal slap landed across my face.

Copper filled my mouth. My ears rang. Giancarlo’s veins popped from his forehead, his eyes wild with rage.

“You monster! Are you really going to drive your sister to kill herself?!”

“Apologize! Now!!”

Mrs. Moretti broke down, pointing at me through tears. “I said we shouldn’t have this child! But you insisted! Said it would help ease the pain! If it weren’t for her… my Elowen would never be like this! Never hurt like this!!”

I stared at them.

At the people who’d just claimed to be my own blood.

At their naked anger, their disgust, the way they looked at me like they wanted to tear me apart.

Finally, my eyes moved to Rafael. His brows were tight, his expression that same familiar mix of blame and disappointment.

I smiled.

It must have looked wrong, because Elowen’s hand holding the knife trembled almost invisibly.

Then I reached for the longer fruit knife on the table and walked slowly toward her.

“I knew it when you faked suicide last time.”

“You held the knife too light. Only broke the skin a little.”

I stopped in front of her, tilting my head, my eyes empty. “Do you even know how to cut properly?”

She paled, terrified by the hollow darkness in my gaze, stepping back unsteadily. “What… what are you doing?!”

“Don’t be scared.”

I smiled faintly.

Then, right before Mrs. Moretti could scream again—

I yanked my sleeve up, revealing my arm crisscrossed with old and new scars. I pressed the blade to the thickest, most prominent scar on my wrist.

No hesitation. No pause.

I dragged it sideways as hard as I could.

A dull, wet sound cut through the air.

Hot, bright blood burst from the deep gash like a dam breaking, spraying outward.

“See…?”

I trembled with a strange, wild euphoria, lifting my bleeding wrist with difficulty, my voice shaky and almost manic. “You… you have to do it like this…”

My vision blurred red. Strength drained away with my blood. I collapsed to the floor.

Thick, warm blood spread quickly beneath me, a blinding pool of red.

Elowen, splattered with droplets, stared in complete shock, her lips trembling violently. “Crazy… you’re crazy… a monster…”

The room went deathly silent. Everyone stood frozen, as if nailed to the floor, forgetting to breathe.

Until the dark stain kept spreading, swallowing me whole.

“No!!!”
