When I rushed to the police station entrance, I happened to see Serena Ricci holding a little boy’s hand as she led Enzo out.

I charged forward and slapped Enzo across the face.

“What right do you have to come out? Aurora died because of you. You need to go to prison. You need to atone for Aurora.”

Serena shoved me away.

“Can you stop shouting in public?”

I grabbed her hair and struck her left and right.

“You homewrecker. You and this scum will both die terrible deaths.”

“You brought the Visconti child to pick Enzo up from prison? Serena, you really have no shame.”

Enzo grabbed my wrist.

“Adriana, clean up your mouth. This is my biological son.”

I froze.

“What did you say? This child… is yours?”

“He’s only eight months younger than Aurora.”

My mind rang.

No wonder he treated that child so well.

No wonder he went to school again and again to attend parent-child events with him.

“You and Serena were never really apart all these years?”

Serena smiled smugly.

Enzo kicked me.

Only when he saw someone else’s name listed as owner did he realize I had sold the house.

On the afternoon of our divorce, I listed the house for sale.

The money had already reached my account.
