To Get Revenge on My Bully I Decided to Seduce Her Fiancé Chapter 02

Three days later, I opened Harrison’s chat for the hundredth time. Still no reply. Not that I was surprised.

From everything I’d dug up on him, Harrison kept his love life clean.

Sloane tagging him was probably just a joke.

She knew he wouldn’t care.

It was almost strange, honestly.

He was the Sterling heir.

From the photos and clips I found, he was easily six feet two, blessed with movie-star good looks thanks to his A-list actress mother, Isabelle Sterling.

He was every inch the classic heir—tall, rich, devastatingly handsome.

And his favorite hobby wasn’t partying, cars or flaunting his money.

It was fishing.

Yeah, total boomer hobby energy. Set up a rod by the coast or a pond and sit there for hours on end.

DMing him clearly wasn’t going to work.

I dug up everything I could on his schedule, even staked out his office building and followed him around.

His routine was steady and predictable—just home and the office, nothing else.

And every weekend, one full day dedicated to fishing.

Once I had his commute down, I got in my car and followed him.

At the next red light, I pulled up right behind him—and slammed on the gas.

Crunch.

The car in front stopped.

Harrison stepped out in a sharp suit, frowning.

He tapped on my window.

I fixed my hair, glancing in the rearview mirror.

I’d paid top dollar for a luxury makeup artist to nail this look.

Every lash was flawless, soft enough to pass for a natural no-makeup look, blended to perfection.

Sure enough, when I opened the door, his frown softened a little.

Sloane must’ve known I’m his type. So she tagged him.

He might not fall for a face alone, but at least he wouldn’t write me off immediately.

I tilted my chin up at just the right angle, flustered.

“I’m so sorry. I just got my license. I panicked and didn’t hit the brakes in time. Are you okay?”

Harrison shook his head, walking around to check the damage to the back of his car.

“It’s not bad. Let’s move out of traffic first. We can handle this through insurance.”

I nodded.

We waited on the curb while the insurance rep walked us through everything.

Then I pulled out my phone and asked.

“Are you on instagram? I’ll follow you, just in case anything comes up later.”

I asked it so casually, like it was the most natural thing in the world, leaving him no room to refuse.

He hesitated for half a second, then pulled out his phone and brought up his Instagram QR code for me to scan..

I followed him right away, and a moment later, he followed me back.

It didn’t mean anything. He was probably just being polite.

But I’d gotten what I wanted.

I looked up at him and apologized again.

“I really am sorry about today. Can I buy you dinner sometime to make it up?”

“No need. Insurance is handled. Message me if anything comes up.”

He turned me down, just like I knew he would. Got in his car and drove off.

I watched his Range Rover merge into traffic.

I curled my fingers around my phone, a small smile tugging at my lips.

I hadn’t expected to get close to him this fast.

Just getting his contact info was already a win. Besides, I liked a challenge—where’s the fun if it’s too easy?

I went through all of Sloane’s socials.

She was obsessed with him.

Nine out of ten posts were about Harrison.

Her infatuation was loud and unsubtle.

The Covington family business had been declining for years.

If the Sterlings hadn’t pumped money into the family to keep them afloat, they’d have collapsed ages ago.

Sloane Covington.

I couldn’t wait to see how cushy your life would be once Harrison wasn’t there to prop you up.

If the world wouldn’t give her what she had coming?

Fine. I’d do it myself.
