They Cast Me Out—Then Their Curse Began Chapter 06

In the back of Silverpine Pack, a two story building was wrapped in thick red mist. Distant, demonic growls came from

Inside

I bit my left finger and let my blood soak into a pre prepared moonstone.

The ordinary moonstone glowed pale blue when touched by my blood. The red mist that Silverpine warriors dared not

touch melted away easily under the light.

I stepped up the stairs to the second floor on the moonstone’s light. The red mist there was thick and took the shape of

a twisted, horned omen.

I held the moonstone high. My freshly healed wound reopened, and blood poured out, making the moonstone shine even

brighter.

The omen’s voice boomed from everywhere.

“The Blood of the Moon… this is none of your business. Get out before you waste your blood.”

I chuckled.

I didn’t speak. I just held up the moonstone and chanted the spell Elder Witch Morwen had taught me.

“Sanguis Lunae, umbra solve, maledictum pereat.”

As the last word left my mouth, the hundred year old moonstone from the Moon Goddess’s shrine shattered.

The red mist vanished with the omen’s angry curses.

I looked at my pale left hand and walked without hesitation into the bedroom.

A terribly weak young wolf lay on the bed. His fur was thin, his eyes sunken, his ears drooped, and his chest heaved like

he would die any second.

This was Kieran Rowan, the young heir of the Rowan family.

I bit my right finger, squeezed out a few drops of blood, and fed them to him. My blood naturally suppressed all omens

Kieran wouldn’t die for now.

I nearly collapsed after’that. I didn’t remember walking out.

Alpha Damian rushed to me as soon as I stepped outside.

‘Miss Willow, how is Kieran?”

I nodded. “He’ll be okay. Let him bathe in moonlight all night, and he’ll wake up. Prepare fresh blood food and healing

Three years later, she returns as a top surgeon and pianist with a powerful…

medicine. He’ll be healthy in a month

The elderly Alpha Damian almost fell to his knees.

“Thank you, thank you…”

I nodded at him. “Alpha, don’t do that. I promised you I’d help.

I’d used too much energy. Standing was hard enough. I couldn’t hold him up.

Luna Evelyn was sharper. “Miss Willow, Silverpine Pack repays its debts…”

I’d only studied in the northern highlands for three years. I didn’t know powerful magic. My only power was my own

blood.

Elder Witch Morwen once told me my Moon Goddess blood was stronger than any spell.

A month later. Luna Evelyn brought young Kieran to thank me.

Kieran dropped to his knees in front of me as soon as he saw me.

“Sister Willow, thank you for saving my life! From now on, my life is yours! I’ll go wherever you tell me!”

He had my blood in him, so he felt naturally drawn to me.

But his dramatic act still made me giggle.

After he rambled for a while, Evelyn Rowan spoke. “Miss Willow, what are your plans? If you don’t mind, you can stay

with Silverpine Pack forever.”

“We’ll never treat you like Blackthorn Pack did.”

No one from Blackthorn Pack had looked for me or even asked about me since I left. It was like I’d never existed.

Silverpine Pack had noticed all of it.

Evelyn Rowan had known I wasn’t loved in Blackthorn Pack before, but she hadn’t thought no one would come after me

when I left.

“Sister Willow, please don’t leave! I swear to the Moon Goddess, I mean everything I said!”

I smiled calmly and nodded.
