The True Mafia Principessa Chapter 09

The True Mafia Principessa Chapter 09

Every single servant in the Vayne estate was fired.

Security, housekeeping, even the head butler. All of them were replaced with people Uncle Lorenzo personally vetted. The entire villa was stripped down and rebuilt from the inside out, not a single

corner left untouched.

As for Clara, I had Uncle Lorenzo throw her out before I even returned.

At the same time, every one of her cards was frozen.

The jewelry? I had it all appraised and sold off, piece by piece. Anything that belonged to me, she wasn’t taking a single cent of it with her.

With nowhere left to go, Clara did the only thing she could think of. She started calling the rich heirs and heiresses she had met while pretending to be me.

“Is this Miss Drake? It’s Clara… could you lend me some money?

The moment they heard her voice, they hung up.

She tried again. And again.

Same result.

If they didn’t hang up immediately, they tore into her over the phone.

“You’ve got some nerve, impersonating someone else and then asking me for money. Who the hell do you think you are? Get lost. If I ever see you, I swear I’ll beat you myself.”

Call after call ended the same way.

In the end, she dialed the only person she thought might still help her.

“Selene… can you lend me some money? I’ll pay you back as soon as I can.”

Selene let out a cold laugh. “Sure. Where are you? I’ll bring it to you myself.”

Clara didn’t think twice. She gave her the address and waited, convinced her best friend was coming

to save her.

What showed up instead was Selene… and a group of street thugs.

Selene didn’t hesitate. She kicked Clara to the ground.

“You’ve got the audacity to ask me for money? You lying bitch. You let me follow you around like your little shadow all this time. Because of you, I’m blacklisted from every high society circle. I should beat you to death.”

“Do you have any idea what I spent to get into that world? How much I paid just to make connections? And you ruined all of it.”

She didn’t stop at words.

Selene dragged the thugs forward and had them swarm Clara.

Blows rained down from every direction.

When it was over, Selene pulled out her phone and started calculating.

After a moment, she crouched down and pressed the screen against Clara’s face.

“This is how much I lost. You owe me every penny.”

Her gaze turned cold and calculating.

“You’ve still got a decent face. I’m sure there are plenty of men who’d be interested.”

That was when Clara finally broke.

Fear hit her too late. Regret came even later.

She tried to run.

But there was nowhere left to go.

Rocco’s lawyer came back with a stack of evidence.

The orphanage director had been skimming money for years.

Those so-called educational supplies and storybooks? They were all part of backroom deals. He partnered with multiple suppliers, inflated the costs, and took a massive cut for himself.

While he drove luxury cars and lived in a mansion, the children under his care were left with the cheapest food and barely enough to survive.

Rocco submitted the evidence up the chain.

The court sentenced the director to prison.

Every dollar he had stolen was seized and returned.

I hired a new director and set up a monthly funding system to keep the orphanage running properly.

I had too many bad memories tied to that place.

But the children had nothing to do with any of it.

They didn’t deserve to suffer for someone else’s sins.

Once everything was finally settled, Rocco stepped in front of me.

“It’s all taken care of now,” he said. “So when are we going to talk about us?”

I pretended not to hear him and tried to turn away.

His hand caught my chin before I could.

He forced me to look at him.

Our eyes met.

There was something unguarded in his expression. Almost… aggrieved.

“Olyria,” he said quietly, “are you really not going to give me a title? I can do anything you ask. I

listen. I follow orders. Just point me where you want me, and I’ll handle it.”

The way he looked at me made it impossible to stay unmoved.

I sighed.

“Fine,” I said. “Let’s start by giving you one.”

His lips curved into a satisfied smile.

“Deal.”
