The Rare She-Wolf: Twice the Power, Zero Forgiveness Chapter 06By Novel7s / July 4, 2026 The Rare She-Wolf: Twice the Power, Zero Forgiveness Chapter 06“My body” was lifted onto a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance. When Mom saw the stretcher move, she suddenly started fighting again. She tried to lunge after it, but the officers held her down. She reached out, her fingers scrabbling uselessly at the air.The ambulance pulled away, right in front of her eyes. The officers took Mom in for questioning, and Ms. Maren went with them as a witness.Inside the Pack security office, Mom sat in a chair, completely hollowed out.No matter what the officers asked her, she didn’t answer. She just stared at her own hands, gaze empty.Ms. Maren was hysterical, crying as she talked to the officers.“I heard it with my own ears! She told that kid to go die!“She said ‘go die, once you’re dead your brother can eat you’!”The officer taking the statement had a dark look on his face.He glanced at Mom, and there was barely suppressed anger in his eyes.“Ms. Ashborne,” the officer kept his voice as steady as he could.“Please explain to me what happened that day.“Why did your daughter jump out that window?”Mom slowly lifted her head and looked at the officer, her gaze finally focusing a little.“I…” Her lips were trembling, “I locked her in her room, I told her to think about what she did.”“Why did you lock her in?”“Because… because she went to her teacher to go against me.” Mom’s voice was barely a whisper.“I was angry, I hit her, I yelled at her.”“What did you yell at her?”Tears suddenly burst from Mom’s eyes, huge heavy drops rolling down her cheeks.“I told her to go die!”Dead silence fell over the interrogation room. The officer set down his pen and took a deep breath.“Do you have any idea how much damage words like that can do to a child?”Mom didn’t answer. She just cried.“Do you know your daughter has a mild intellectual disability?“If you tell her to go die, she will actually do it. Do you understand that?”The officer’s voice was shaking, he was struggling to keep his emotions under control.Mom covered her face with her hands, her shoulders shaking violently.“I didn’t… I didn’t actually want her to die…” She forced the words out between her fingers.“I was just angry… I couldn’t control myself…”“Couldn’t control yourself?” The officer slammed his palm down on the table hard.“Not being able to control yourself gives you the right to say that? That’s your own goddamndaughter!”Mom flinched hard, lifted her head, her face completely soaked with tears.“I’m sick,” she mumbled. “I’m mentally ill.”The officer stared at her for a long time, then picked up his walkie-talkie and said a few words intoA minute later, a she-wolf doctor in a white coat walked in.They took Mom away to do an evaluation.A long time later, the doctor came out and talked to the officer in the hallway.“Severe major depressive disorder, with comorbid borderline personality disorder and PTSD.”The doctor flipped through the medical file. “She has severe self-destructive tendencies andchronic emotional dysregulation.“She needs treatment. She’s needed it for a long time.”“Can these conditions lead her to abuse her child?” the officer asked. The doctor was quiet for a second.“These conditions don’t directly cause abuse.“But they make emotional regulation extremely difficult, and make it almost impossible to build a healthy parent-child bond.“She clearly didn’t have the ability to control her own actions, and she never sought help.”The officer sighed and shook his head.Mom was taken into temporary custody. But because of her unstable mental state, she was transferred to the psychiatric ward of PackHospital. The ward was quiet. Mom lay in bed, an IV in her arm, staring blankly at the ceiling. When the nurse came in to give her medication, she took it obediently, didn’t talk, didn’t move.Ms. Maren came to see her once, standing in the doorway of the ward. She looked at Mom on the bed, her expression unreadable. In the end she didn’t say anything, just turned and left.Sometimes Mom got sudden hallucinations. She’d whip her head around suddenly, staring at an empty corner of the room.“Wren? Is that you, baby?”Sometimes she laughed, soft and gentle.“Look, Mommy bought you a new dress. Do you like it?”Sometimes she cried, so broken-hearted it hurt to hear.“I’m sorry, Mommy was wrong. Please come back to me, okay?”When the nurse came in to give her pills, she’d grab the nurse’s hand.“Have you seen my daughter? She was just right here a minute ago.”The nurse shook her head, pulled her hand free, and put the pills in her mouth.Mom swallowed the pills, and her gaze went blank again. This went on day after day.Until this day-She saw “Wren” standing outside the ward door again. She lunged forward instantly, and this time, she wrapped her arms around something solid.I looked at Mom, worn thin and broken by everything she’d been through, and sighed softly.“Long time no see, Ms. Ashborne.”
