Nadia went pale, thinking she was hallucinating.

She stumbled off the stage. When she saw Finn clearly, tears filled her eyes.

Finn only sneered, then strode quickly over to me.

Mrs. Cater threw herself at him, sobbing hysterically.

Finn lifted me into his arms, his expression stern as he looked at Mrs. Cater.

“Mom, Aurora is the only innocent one here. How could you treat her like this?”

Mrs. Cater stood there, dumbfounded.

Ignoring all the onlookers, Finn said softly to me. “I’ll take you to the hospital first.”

Caleb stood frozen to the spot, watching Finn carry me away.

He only snapped back to his senses when we reached the door.

He rushed in front of Finn.

“Finn, where are you taking her?”

Nadia ran up too, crying accusations.

“Alpha, you’ve been gone all these years, leaving me alone. Don’t you owe me an explanation?”

“Do you have any idea what I’ve been through-
