The Lycan King’s Stolen Luna: Faking Amnesia to Revenge My Alpha Chapter 10

The Lycan King’s Stolen Luna: Faking Amnesia to Revenge My Alpha Chapter 10

Ethan finally clued in. His eyes darted between my hand on Ryan’s arm and the fact that Ryan wasn’t pulling away.

A sudden fury flared in his eyes. He lunged forward and violently yanked me toward him.

“Have you forgotten what your own damn mate looks like?”

“Who the hell are you? Get off me! Touch me again and I’m calling the enforcers for assault!”

I thrashed, trying to break his grip.

But Ethan’s hold was iron. I couldn’t budge his fingers, so I looked back over my shoulder. “Honey, he’s hurting me! Help me!”

“Elena, what the fuck kind of game is this?” Ethan roared.

“She has amnesia.”

Ryan threw out the words, flat and cool.

The rage on Ethan’s face locked up instantly.

“What did you say?”

Ryan stepped in, peeling Ethan’s fingers off my skin with terrifying ease. He pulled me flush against his side. “She was in a wreck a month ago. Head trauma. She wiped out her entire past.”

Ethan scoffed, his eyes narrowing. “You two are running a script, aren’t you?”

“Do I look like the type of man who has time to play house?”

Ethan stared at Ryan’s rigid, commanding posture. This was Ryan Bellandi. The Lycan King didn’t do favors, and he damn sure didn’t play character roles for she-wolves.

“Honey, is this guy a friend of yours?”

I looked up at Ryan, playing the confused victim.

Ryan brushed a stray hair from my forehead. “Something like that.”

“He’s putting his hands on me and I don’t like it. Honey, can we please just go home?”

Ryan gave a slow nod. He slid my purse off the table, took my hand in his massive palm, and led me

out.

Ethan made a move to chase after us, but Chloe grabbed his arm, anchoring him in place.

On the drive back, my phone started vibrating.

Right in front of Ryan, I tapped the screen and put it to my ear.

The second the line connected, Ethan’s voice exploded through the speaker, laced with panic and irritation. “Elena, you’re faking this, aren’t you?”

“Chloe told me everything. You didn’t lose your damn memory. You’re doing this on purpose-

Ryan jerked the car to the curb. He reached over, took the phone right out of my hand, and brought

it to his mouth. “Ethan, if you have questions, talk to me. Stop harassing her.”

“Ryan, that’s my fucking mate! What is your problem?”

“We’ll talk later.”

Ryan cut the call and instantly blocked the number.

The second he dropped me off at the penthouse, Ryan turned around and left.

The Gold Crest Lounge.

Ethan slammed drinks back, slurring the details of how Ryan and I were acting entirely too close.

Marcus sat across from him, the puzzle pieces finally clicking. That sweet, seductive voice on the

phone weeks ago-it really had been mine.

But neither of them could fathom how a border-pack Luna had managed to crawl into Ryan’s orbit.

The heavy oak doors of the VIP room swung open, and Ryan walked in, his stride slow and

deliberate.

Smash.

Ethan threw his tumbler against the wall, charging forward to punch his fingers deep into Ryan’s

lapels.

“Did you fuck my mate, Ryan?”

Ethan couldn’t get the image of those dark, violent bruises on my neck out of his mind.

He wasn’t an innocent boy; he knew exactly what a woman looked like after a rough night in bed.

The thought of another man-especially this man-touching his Luna made him want to rip

throats out.

Marcus rushed over, trying to pull them apart. “Ethan, calm the fuck down! Let’s talk. There has to be a misunderstanding here!”

“Misunderstanding? He was practically groping Elena right in front of me!”

“Elena has amnesia,” Ryan repeated, his voice deadpan.

Subconsciously, Ethan didn’t want to believe I’d cheat on him either.

We’d known each other for twenty years. He knew how hopelessly devoted I was to him.

He didn’t really trust Chloe’s words anyway. If I hadn’t lost my mind, there was no way in hell I’d be sleeping with another Alpha.

“When did it happen?” Ethan spat.

“A month ago. Check the medical logs yourself.”

Ethan thought back over the last few weeks. Every time they’d called Ryan to join the pack gatherings, he’d blown them off.

Because he was staying inside Elena.

“So you used her brain damage as an excuse to put your dick in her?”

Ethan’s eyes turned bloodshot, his voice cracking with betrayal. “You don’t touch a brother’s mate, Ryan. That’s pack law! You can ride whoever you want, but Elena? I trusted you. How could you do this to me?”

Ethan swung, putting his entire weight behind the fist.

Ryan didn’t even duck. He took the punch flush to the jaw, his head snapping back from the impact.

I stayed up until eleven, figuring Ryan was throwing the towel in for the night.

He hadn’t answered a single one of my texts. I could feel it in the air-he was avoiding me.

Just as I reached to flick off the bedside lamp, the front door clicked open.

I bolted out of bed.

Ryan walked into the living room.

Seeing me standing there, his jaw clenched. “Why are you still awake?”

“Honey, what happened to your face?”

The left side of his jaw was badly bruised and swelling fast. Someone had used him as a punching

bag

I rushed over, reaching up to touch the wound, but he caught my wrist in mid-air.

His grip was firm, cold, pushing me back

“It’s late. Go to sleep.”

Without another glance, he turned his back on me and locked himself in his master bedroom

I didn’t need to guess who did it.

Thinking about how much this man had taken care of me over the past few weeks, a heavy drop of

guilt settled in my stomach.

I followed him into his room.

Ryan was sitting on the edge of his deep leather sofa, his long legs spread.

A lit cigarette was pinched between his knuckles, and he was drawing heavy, slow breaths, letting the thick gray smoke obscure the lethal lines of his face.

He looked dangerous. Distant.

I could tell his headspace was completely toxic right now.

I went into his bathroom, soaked a towel in hot water, wrung it out, and walked back over.

Kneeling on the cushion right between his thighs, I pressed the warm cloth against his swollen jaw.

The scent of sweet gardenias-my signature scent-flooded his senses as I leaned in close

Ryan’s eyes flicked down.

I wasn’t wearing a bra under my thin silk robe.

Suddenly, his hand shot out, clamping around my wrist. He tossed the cigarette into the trash bin

with his free hand, then yanked hard, pulling my body right down onto his lap.

I thought he was finally going to take me.

Instead, his large hand locked around my chin, tilting my face up to force me to look at him.

Under the bright crystal chandelier, his dark, perfect face hovered inches from mine. His voice was

a low, dangerous growl

“Elena, I want to sleep with you. I want to help you destroy Ethan. But I don’t take advantage of

broken she wolves.”

Staring into his dark, hungry eyes, my throat went completely dry.

I could feel the heavy, pulsing heat of his cock hardening right beneath my thighs.

His breathing was ragged, beads of sweat breaking out along his hairline as he fought his own

instincts.

I looped my arms tightly around his neck, leaning flush against his chest.

“Ryan, you aren’t taking advantage of anyone. I know exactly whose bed I’m in.”

I tilted my head, pressing my lips hard against his…
