The Lycan King’s Stolen Luna: Faking Amnesia to Revenge My Alpha Chapter 08

I caught a glimpse of the caller ID on his screen, and it only made me wilder. I leaned in, teasing

him without mercy.

Ryan grabbed my wrists. His breath was scorching, his voice dropping into a dark, gravelly rasp.

“Let me take this first.”

I played nice and froze.

Only then did Ryan slide the bar to answer, throwing out two icy words. “What is it?”

“Ryan, we’re-”

“I don’t have time.”

“Dude, you’ve been MIA for days. Something’s up. Don’t tell me you’re-”

“Bear, I’m hungry!” I whined loudly right into the mic.

The voice on the other end cut off instantly. A second later, a shocked shout exploded through the

speaker. “Ryan! Since when do you have a girl over?”

Ryan slammed the phone shut, cutting him off.

The line stayed dead.

Ryan turned those razor-sharp, hawk-like eyes back on me, pinning me with his gaze.

I didn’t flinch. Instead, I crossed my arms and pouted. “Your off-hours belong to me. No going out

to screw around!”

On the other side of town, inside the VIP lounge.

Marcus lowered his phone, and the guy next to him immediately leaned in. “Ryan has a Luna?”

Marcus grunted a “yeah,” his brow furrowing as he stared at his screen.

“Who is she? Since when?”

Ethan asked the question, but everyone in the room just shook their heads. Nobody had heard a

whisper.

Ryan’s Lycan blood was pure royalty-lethal, powerful, and notoriously cold. For years, no she-wolf had ever managed to catch his eye.

Everyone assumed he was basically asexual, so the consensus was that this was just a temporary;

distraction.

Ethan didn’t give it a second thought. “Whatever. Call someone else over.”

But Marcus just sat there, gripping his phone, totally silent.

The guy next to him nudged his shoulder. “What’s wrong with you?”

Marcus looked up, fixing his eyes on Ethan. “That girl’s voice… it sounded crazy

It sounded a lot like…

But Marcus didn’t dare breathe that name out loud.

The guy gasped. “No way. Someone we know?”

familiar.”

Ethan scoffed, waving a hand dismissively. “She’s just a plaything. Who gives a shit who she is?”

Marcus figured he was right. He shook it off and quickly dialed another girl to come over.

I had assumed Ryan brought me to his penthouse because he had an agenda.

I wanted to ride him, and I was positive he wanted the exact same thing.

Except for the past month, all I could do was stare at his lethal waistline, fantasizing about the hard

abs and tight v-lines hidden beneath his tailored shirts, drooling over the raw, filthy lust that

occasionally flared in his eyes.

I’d been starving for way too long.

Back when I was loyal to the mate bond, my world revolved around Ethan.

I could go months without sex and not even blink.

But the second I found out Ethan was cheating, my moral compass shattered.

He had faked amnesia just to screw around behind my back. Why the hell should I stay pure for him?

Every dirty, heavy make-out session with Ryan only added fuel to the fire burning inside me.

But Ryan always stopped right at the edge.

Even when I could feel him vibrating, ready to explode, he would just stroke my hair, hook my bra back together, and walk away. He’d lock himself in his bedroom.

He spent ages in his bathroom every single night.

I knew he was taking freezing showers-I could feel the icy aura radiating off him afterward.

It didn’t take a genius to realize he was holding back because of Ethan.

But I was here for blood.

I wanted revenge.

The longer I dragged this out with Ryan, the more time he had to overthink it.

I needed to close the deal, fast.

If I didn’t lock Ryan down, where else was I going to find a specimen this perfect?

If I was going to cheat, I was going to upgrade. I wanted someone so much better than Ethan that it would literally burn him alive.

After Ryan left for the office, I was left alone in the massive apartment with nothing to do.

I was mindlessly scrolling through my phone when a text popped up.

[Miss Lane, can we go somewhere and talk?]

I knew the number instantly.

The memory of that explicit video flashed in my mind, sending a wave of raw nausea and boiling rage straight up my throat.

I knew exactly what she wanted.

[Sure,] I texted back, waiting for her to drop the time and place.

On my way out the door, I pulled up Ryan’s contact and sent him a quick text…
