The Lycan King’s Stolen Luna: Faking Amnesia to Revenge My Alpha Chapter 03

The man who used to worship the ground I walked on was now holding another she-wolf right in front of me, demanding I apologize to her.

A sharp pain sliced through my chest.

But I would NEVER bow down to a bitch who was trying to steal my mate.

“Ethan, you are my mate,” I pleaded, trying to reason with him. “If you don’t believe me, we can check the records at the Pack Hall. Three years ago, we—”

“So what?”

My desperation shattered against his cold indifference. My heart sank even deeper.

Ethan glared at me, his eyes sharp as daggers. “Chloe told me everything last night. I know you’re my Luna. But I only married you for the sake of the pack. I never loved you.”

“She’s lying! We fell in love naturally. You pursued me! You swore I was the only one you’d ever want—”

“Enough!”

Ethan cut me off, his face twisting with disgust. “I heard you’re the reason I crashed last night—demanding I drive out in a storm just to get you pizza. Why would I ever love a spoiled, entitled she-wolf like you?”

“Did you even stop to ask yourself why you did it? You drove out in that storm because you wanted to make me happy. Because you loved me—”

“The only women I like are sweet and gentle. Women like Chloe.”

The words stabbed straight into my heart. Even knowing it was just the amnesia talking, the rejection still cut like a knife.

Safe in his embrace, Chloe looked over Ethan’s shoulder and flashed me a smug, triumphant smirk.

Then, shifting back into a fragile victim, she tugged on his sleeve and whimpered, “Alpha, maybe I should just leave. This isn’t right…”

Ethan tightened his grip around her waist, softening his voice to soothe her. “It’s not your fault. I’m the one who can’t let you go.”

The agony inside me became unbearable.

When Ethan looked back at me, every ounce of warmth vanished from his face, replaced by total apathy.

“Listen to me, Miss Lane,” he said coldly. “Even if I get my memory back, I could never stay with a woman like you. Chloe is the one I love now. Stop harassing us.”

I knew yelling or picking another fight right now was useless.

Swallowing the bitter lump in my throat, I forced myself to stay calm.

Suddenly remembering something, I looked down at my hand and held it up. “Ethan, look at this ring. It matches yours. It belongs exclusively to the Luna of the Silver Ridge Pack.”

His dark eyes locked onto my hand. A faint flicker of emotion crossed his face, gone before I could even catch it.

“Our initials are engraved inside. E&E. My forever lover. That was our vow.”

I slipped the ring off my ring finger and held it out to him.

Ethan stared at it, his expression unreadable.

“Ethan, aren’t you even going to look at it?”

Ethan paused, locking eyes with me for a tense second.

Then, without a word, he pulled his own ring off his finger and flicked his wrist, tossing it straight into the trash can.

“There’s my answer!”
