Starved Omega in Heat: My Alpha Ran to Another Chapter 09

Starved Omega in Heat: My Alpha Ran to Another Chapter 09: The Moon’s Truth

The full moon rose.

My temperature spiked. Every bone in my body cracked. Vessels felt ready to burst.

I refused every male. No marks. No soothing. The whole pack waited tense.

In the labor district, Zohan snapped his silver chains. He beat the guards and came charging foward the altar like a man possessed.

Bloodshot eyes. Hoarse screaming.

“Charlotte! You can’t hold out! You’ve got no one but me! You think anyone else can satisfy you?!”

Landon too-humiliated and hungry-led his Ironclaw warriors in a surprise attack on the altar’s edge. He shifted into a massive gray wolf and crashed through the defenses, lunging for where I writhed in pain.

“Charlotte! I’ll mark you now! Your power is mine!”

The two of them met at the foot of the altar.

Zohan saw Landon coming for me. He lost his last shred of sanity.

“SHE’S MY WOMAN! DON’T TOUCH HER! Charlotte-beg me to save you! Beg me, and I’ll kill him!”

I looked down at the two of them. Selfish. Stupid. Filled with nothing but conquest and sexes.

The madness inside me peaked.

“Shut up.”

I lifted my head.

CRACK-

I didn’t collapse. I didn’t lose my mind.

In the full moon’s light-my body swelled. Pure white fur blazed with silver light. A crescent golden mark burned on my forehead.

In ancient legend, the white wolf’s heat wasn’t for mating.

‘It was for strengthening the soul. It was small, insecure male Alphas who’d twisted the truth-who’d told women they needed men to survive.

BOOM.

I swung a casual paw with my power. Landon didn’t even scream. His spine snapped. He flew through the air like a broken dog-landed in a spray of blood, his Alpha power shattered.

His elite warriors saw it. Saw the one they’d called unstoppable reduced to nothing. They dropped, trembling.

I turned to Zohan.

He stood frozen.

He saw me. He looked at me-not only did he not perish during his mating season, but he even acquired a terrifying power that made him unworthy even of admiration.

He finally understood. Those boasts just now meant nothing in the face of true power.

“You… this is impossible… you were a failure… you should have begged me… you were supposed to beg. He collapsed and fell to the ground in a state of complete distress.

I walked down from the altar.

As I moved, wounds on my pack members healed. Flesh knit together. Their pain eased. At this moment all members of the Moonshadow Pack devoutly knelt on their knees and shouted loudly.

“ALPHA!”

I walked to Zohan.

I didn’t even bother to step on him.

“Zohan. You see it now? I don’t keep away from you because I can resist. You’re not even worth a glance from me anymore.”

“From now on, you stay here. And you watch what I build.”

That night, Zohan broke.

He wandered the labor district, babbling “I’m Charlotte’s mate.” The pack’s kids threw stones at him like a rabid dog.

As for Grace-

Days later, border scouts reported a woman covered in open sores at Ironclaw’s border. Rogues dragged her into the brush. No bones found.

I heard it and nodded. Turned away toward the wider lands ahead.

Revenge was long over.

My life was just starting.
