With Grace exiled, Zohan went completely insane.
That night, he called another pack assembly. On the projection crystal, he ranted like a man possessed.
“Charlotte that vicious b*tch! She dared touch my woman! Grace is mine! This is all because Charlotte is jealous! From today, Blood Moon is Shadow Pack’s sworn enemy! I’ll drag her back and humiliate her until she begs to die!”
His words still stung. Still infuriated.
I ignored him.
The next morning, I appeared in Shadow Pack’s central square.
I came as the white wolf. Pure. Radiant in the dawn light. My pressure crushed down over the whole pack. Nearly everyone dropped to their knees at once.
Zohan couldn’t even stand straight under my pressure.
I spoke from the platform, my voice carrying clear and cold.
“Zohan. Three years bonded. You cheated. You humiliated me. You forced me to my knees. You killed my mother. Today—you feel it.”
I played it all. Every piece. Him saying “if Charlotte won’t acknowledge the cub, she can forget about me touching her.” The footage of me bleeding on the ground under his force. The rope snapping. My mother’s dying scream.
No one in Shadow Pack said a word.
I walked to him. Put my foot on his neck.
“Kneel.”
He glared up at me. “You’re dreaming! I’m the Alpha of Shadow Pack! You’re just a failure who climbed on Blood Moon’s resources! Let me go, or I’ll—”
I didn’t let him finish.
My white wolf form expanded. His knees slammed into the stone. Something cracked. His bones made a terrifying sound.
“I said kneel.”
He was forced down, but he still fought. “You think this breaks me? You ruined Grace. I hate you. You barren waste—you’ll never compare to her. Once I recover, I’ll make you suffer a fate worse than death itself!”
I laughed. It made him pale.
“Three years ago you said, ‘Once I heal her, I’ll f*ck you.’ Today, you repeat after me.”
I forced him, sentence by sentence, before the entire pack.
“I, Zohan, am a cheating scumbag.”
“I used fake treatment to sleep with Grace.”
“I caused Charlotte’s mother’s death.”
“I don’t deserve to be Alpha.”
Each sentence, I cranked the pressure harder. His defiance cracked. His voice shook. By the end, he was almost sobbing the words out. I pressed his forehead into the stone—again and again—blood streaming.
Around us, shadows shifted. Some looked down. Some looked shocked. A few were already wavering.
He hit his limit. He looked up with wild eyes.
“So what if you won?! Without me, Shadow Pack falls apart! You’re a woman! What gives you the right?! You kill me, I’m still the one who rejected you! Still the one you begged to mark you! You’ll always be that begging wolf-less failure!”
He thought those words would hurt.
These words were still utterly infuriating. I didn’t kill him; I merely announced it publicly.
I raised my voice, addressing the crystal.
“From this moment—Zohan’s Alpha position is void.”
My white wolf bloodline forced the link with Shadow Pack to sever. He screamed as it snapped. His pressure vanished completely.
Shadow Pack erupted in panicked howls.
He crumpled, staring at his own hands like they’d betrayed him.
“You… what did you do… my wolf… my…”
I looked down at him. The sound was so cold that it lacked even a trace of warmth.
“Shadow Pack has no Alpha now.”
“And you’re worth less than a Rogue.”
I didn’t take over. Not yet.
I left him in the square, just like he’d left me—bloody, broken, on display. He was surrounded by everyone. The once-dominant Alpha now looked utterly disheveled.
I turned and walked away.
Behind me, his voice hoarse, screaming.
“CHARLOTTE! YOU’LL REGRET THIS! WITHOUT ME YOU’RE NOTHING! SHADOW WON’T LET YOU—”
I didn’t look back.
Grace: done.
Zohan: almost done.
Next came the hard part.
