Starved Omega in Heat: My Alpha Ran to Another Chapter 03

Starved Omega in Heat: My Alpha Ran to Another Chapter 03 : Blood Debt
I’d wanted a clean ending.
That night, Zohan used his Alpha authority to convene a pack-wide assembly. He broadcast it through every Projection Crystal in Shadow Pack.
He stood there, righteous fury on his face.
“Grace and I are the true mates! Charlotte forced me into this bond using a debt of gratitude.”
“I earned my Alpha position myself. All I did was sleep with Grace to continue my dead brother’s bloodline—and Charlotte got jealous. She tried to force me to father an heir for Blood Moon Pack so she could control everything.”
“Even if she’s the only daughter of Blood Moon Pack, I won’t tolerate a wolf-less failure like her throwing her weight around.”
Just like that, all the filth landed on me.
I was the mistress who’d come between him and Grace. They were the star-crossed lovers, faithful and true.
The pack exploded with outrage. Everyone cursed my name.
Someone gathered outside our house. They threw rotting meat at the walls, smeared blood symbols of exile on the door.
I tried to ignore it.
But Zohan showed up at my door, furious.
“Charlotte, I told the truth! But you had to be vicious, spreading rumors that Grace is some heat-sl*t!”
“She ran away because of the stress. Are you happy now?”
He grabbed my shoulders.
“Right now, you’ll kneel before the Projection Crystal and apologize to Grace. Admit you’re the other woman. Swear you’ll never interfere with me and Grace again. Beg her to come back.”
“You’re insane.” I shoved him off. “You’re the one who cheated. I did nothing. Why should I apologize?”
I was just about to drive him away, when he laughed coldly and switched the projection crystal to another angle.
The moment I looked at the screen, my blood turned to ice.
On the screen, my mother hung suspended above a massive silver cage. Hemp rope bound her wrists. Below her, dozens of starving Rogues snarled and leaped, snapping at her feet.
“You’ve always been vicious. Who else would spread those rumors?”
“Charlotte. If you don’t apologize, your mother gets torn to pieces by those Rogues. Because of you.”
The rope began to lower, getting closer and closer to the Rogues below.
I lunged forward. “I didn’t do it! Take it out on me! Let her go!”
Zohan didn’t believe me. He grabbed my hair and slammed my head against the floor.
My forehead cracked open. Blood splattered my vision. The pain blackened my sight, but I didn’t dare fight back—if I did, he’d hurt Mom worse.
“Charlotte. Stall again, and I feed her to the Rogues.”
That broke me.
I dropped to my knees in front of the Projection Crystal—the one broadcasting to the entire pack—and did what he said.
“I was wrong. Blood Moon Pack was wrong. We used our power to bully others. We’re vile and shameless.”
I bashed my forehead against the ground until blood covered my face.
Only then did Zohan’s men bring Grace back.
Zohan checked her frantically, relieved she was safe. Then he waved me off like I was trash.
“Enough! If you’d done that earlier, this wouldn’t have gotten ugly. You just had to make it difficult, didn’t you?”
He saw my bloodied face, my slumped shoulders. He started reaching for me.
Grace stepped forward. Smiling, she leaned close and whispered.
“I disappeared on purpose. Wanted to see how much Zohan cared. Three years bonded to you, Charlotte, and he loves me so much he’d kill your mother for me. If I were you, I’d rather be dead.”
She turned the Projection Crystal toward me, her voice bright.
“Tell everyone—are you still shameless enough to stay? Are you willing to watch Zohan and me have a cub, then become our maid?”
My heart shredded. But for Mom, I swallowed the rest of my pride.
“Do whatever you want. I don’t care anymore.”
The Projection Crystal exploded with mocking voices.
Zohan finally told me where Mom was.
When I found her, her feet dangled inches above the Rogues. Her face was ashen. She sobbed in terror.
I lunged for the release lever. Locked tight.
I called Zohan. He answered, impatient.
“I was just scaring her. That mechanism’s solid. It’ll stop soon.”
“Charlotte, once you’re done with the show, get back here and cook. Grace was frightened. She wants to try the stew you made. After she eats, I’ll f*ck her again for treatment.”
He hung up before I could speak.
The instant the call ended—
A wet snap.
The rope broke.
“NO—!!!”
Mom screamed as she plunged into the silver cage.
Then came the tearing. The snarling. Blood sprayed up and hit my face.
“NO!!! MOM—!!!”
I dove into the pit. I clawed at the corrosive silver bars with my bare hands. Tried to shield her.
Too late.
I watched my mother get shredded into a bloody mess. She screamed in agony—then went silent. Her eyes stayed open. Lifeless.
“NOOOO!!! MOM!!!”
My hands burned from the silver. The Rogues had bitten me down to the bone. None of it compared to the pain in my chest.
Grief surged up from somewhere deep inside me. And beneath it—something else. Power. Rising. Breaking through every wall.
Crack. Crack. Crack.
Bones snapped and reformed. My body swelled. Tore. White fur burst through skin. I grew and grew—
BOOM.
The white wolf soul that had slept inside me for three years exploded free.
Pressure a hundred times worse than Zohan’s slammed across the entire pack.
One claw swipe shattered the silver cage. The dozens of Rogues stained with my mother’s blood—I bit their throats out one by one.
I stood among the ruins.
I turned toward Shadow Pack.
Zohan. Grace.
Every humiliation. Every pain.
You made me suffer.
From this moment on——
I’ll make both of you pay in blood!!
