One Hundred Rules to Tame My Impossible Billionaire Boss Chapter 11

One Hundred Rules to Tame My Impossible Billionaire Boss Chapter 11

This time after I said “we’re done,” I deleted Miles.

He didn’t try to add me back like before.

I went to class. Did some side jobs.

The gifts he’d given me while chasing me? I sold them all. Perfect excuse—heartbreak.

For a regular family like mine, luxury stuff is worth less than cash.

I didn’t hide it from him either. Good thing, too—when the bullet comments told me he was the buyer, I rinsed him.

[It was from someone who liked me. But he doesn’t want me anymore.]

Useless gifts turned into cold, hard $300k.

Blair didn’t rush to Miles.

She wasn’t dumb enough to comfort him now. She was part of the reason.

So she just watched me.

Rumors were going around campus that Miles got dumped.

With his ego, he definitely wasn’t the one spreading it.

Blair stared at me. “Aren’t you mad?”

After a pause, she continued, “I just realized I don’t even like him that much. Besides his face and his family money, he’s got nothing. My cousin’s honestly better.”

“Our families are talking about an arranged marriage. I already lied to you once, so I’ll just be straight with you now.”

She was shady.

Acting casual while poking at me.

I finished organizing my desk and said flatly, “Your cousin has a crush on you. Of course he treats you well.”

Blair frowned. That was practically a family scandal. Not something to say out loud.

She always cared about appearances. “Iris, don’t make things up.”

“We are never happening.”

I shot back, “You can’t be blind to it. Chase treats you better than he treats any girlfriend. Relax, you’re not blood related. When he finds that out, he’ll stop dating around.”

“And this engagement with Miles? You’re about to lock it down, yet you keep bringing it up to me. Doesn’t that just mean you’re not confident in the marriage you schemed for?”

Blair’s face darkened.

Because I was right.

It’s obvious when Miles likes someone.

Now he doesn’t care at all what she likes. But before, he used to know everything.

Bullet comments spammed question marks, [Does the side character have future vision or something? How is she so accurate?]

[What’s the male lead thinking? Feels like he can’t let go of her, but he’s not refusing the engagement. Keeps staring at her chat history. What is he looking for?]

[He can’t be dumb enough to use the engagement to make her jealous. That won’t work on her.]

[Am I the only one wondering why nobody’s given her the $300k settlement yet…]

Seeing that, I looked at Blair and said slowly, “You could just pay me off. Keep me from talking to Miles.”

“You get the guy. I get the money. Win-win.”

Blair had too much pride. “I don’t do that. Once the engagement is set, you two have no chance. Miles’s parents would never allow it.”

I added, “$75k buys me one month of not adding him back.”

Then I opened my resale page. “Miles just bought this.”

Blair recognized the price. She could tell he was basically losing money buying my stuff. Her composure cracked.

The engagement would take at least a few weeks to finalize.

She gritted her teeth. “Iris, you’re really something else.”

After watching me the last few days,

She realized—I genuinely didn’t like Miles.

She even suspected I’d exposed the bet on purpose.

But she couldn’t prove it. “Aren’t you scared I’ll tell Miles everything you just said?”
