One Hundred Rules to Tame My Impossible Billionaire Boss Chapter 03

One Hundred Rules to Tame My Impossible Billionaire Boss Chapter 03

Inside The Tap Room.

Miles stared at his phone, fuming.

When he chased Blair, at least she’d text back. But Iris? Sometimes she’d reply instantly, sometimes after days.

And now she’d gone three days without a response.

Even after he’d sent her a gift!

His buddy laughed. “Still haven’t landed the good girl?”

Blair was singing a duet with her current boyfriend, shooting Miles a look.

Miles immediately snapped, “What? She’s got standards. Not like some people who go through boyfriends like tissues.”

Blair didn’t get mad. Instead, she smiled sweetly and kissed her boyfriend on the lips.

Miles stormed out.

Everyone in the booth looked at Blair knowingly.

The bullet comments told me all of it.

The next day, I got a delicate necklace.

Miles texted, [Saw you liked a similar style on your IG story. You want it?]

I noticed something fun.

Every time Blair pissed him off, he’d shower me with expensive stuff.

His “like” was obvious enough that Blair didn’t even get mad about him spoiling me.

But that pissed me off.

Because Blair looked at me like she was winning.

Were these two seriously using me as their game?

I replied, [Sure]

Not my job to babysit a guy’s feelings. If he can’t lock me down in three months, he’s the one who’s stressed.

Just like I predicted.

Because of that bet, Miles went from half-assed chasing to walking on eggshells.

He noticed something weird, every time he ran into Blair, I’d go silent.

Like I had a tracker on him.

He finally asked her, “Are you talking shit about me to Iris?”

Blair’s smile dropped. She studied his face. It wasn’t his usual jealous look.

Her expression stiffened. Then she sneered, “Guilty conscience?”

They fought and split on bad terms.

Bullet comments, [Two months in and the male lead can’t even get a date with the side character. Lmao.]

I scrolled through Miles’s socials.

He cared a lot about his image.

If I kept rejecting him into month three, he might take it personally.

I’ve always wanted a boyfriend who’s attentive, puts up with all my crap, and spends money on me.

But I don’t want anyone knowing I’m a high-maintenance nightmare. So I play the sweet girl.

Miles actually fits what I need perfectly.

He’d never tell anyone about embarrassing stuff. He’d even lie to protect his rep.

Like right now, he was bragging to his friends, “Iris is totally into me. She’s just shy—that’s why she didn’t show tonight.”

“Damn, Miles. You barely even had to try.”

“So you’re really over Blair?”

Miles huffed, “Blair who? I’m scared Iris will get jealous. I haven’t even looked at her lately.”

Then another guy’s voice, “So you really don’t care? No wonder you didn’t even ask when Blair and her boyfriend broke up.”

Miles froze.

“She broke up?”

Meanwhile, the bullet comments roasted him, [God, what a jerk. He’s still hung up on Blair but chasing Iris.]

[And he bought her a red dress! She never wears red!]

[He even got the size wrong. Side character can’t catch a break.]

A second later, Miles texted, [New dress. Felt like it’d be perfect for you. If you don’t like it, I’ll give it to your roommate.]

I stared at the screen coldly.

Blair said one thing right.

Men need training.

That night, I wrote up a hundred boyfriend rules and sent them. [I agree to be with you. Break any rule, and we’re done.]

[1. Don’t mention any other girl in front of me. That includes your mom.]
