My Husband’s Heir Cost Him His Own Daughter Chapter 26

“No… that’s not what happened!” Savannah backed away, her face ashen. “It was her eyes! The look she gave me was terrifying! She wanted to hurt my son! I… I was just scared!”

“You’re still lying.”

Carter paused the video on Savannah’s face, her expression a perfect blend of calculation and feigned fear.

He didn’t look at her again. He turned to the butler.

“Please ask the uncles who were present, along with the guests who were standing nearby, to join us. I have something I need to confirm with them.”

A few minutes later, several elders and guests were ushered into the living room.

When they saw the frozen image on the screen, their expressions grew tense.

Carter spoke, his voice quiet but carrying a weight that commanded their full attention.

“Everyone, please watch this again and tell me: did Amelia touch Savannah that day?”

With the video playing, no one dared to continue the charade.

“Well… it was chaotic. Perhaps we misjudged the situation,” one elder conceded.

“Looking at it now, it does appear that Amelia never touched her,” another admitted quietly.
