My Husband Auctioned My Private Photos, I Ruined Him on the Spot Chapter 07

Landon, who had stayed silent through it all, shouted in alarm. “Bianca!”

Bianca had only taken one slap, but she collapsed into Landon’s arms as if she’d been struck

by a truck.

Before I could react, someone grabbed me by the collar and yanked me hard. I crashed

backward onto the floor.

“Let go!”

I struggled, but a sickening crack shot through my wrist. Pain seared through my body. I looked up through clenched teeth to see Landon’s security team had swarmed in, forcing me

onto my knees.

My breath shuddered. When I’d struck Landon, he hadn’t called them. But for one slap to

Bianca, he unleashed them on me.

“Does it hurt?”

Landon settled Bianca into a seat, his face full of concern. She cupped her cheek and shook her head, tears glistening as she looked at me. “Don’t blame her. She was just angry. As long

as you’re okay…”

Landon stiffened. He straightened up and walked toward me.

Slap! His palm cracked across my face.

“Lan-” Slap!

Another blow swallowed my words. The taste of iron filled my mouth. Landon turned his

back on me and said over his shoulder, “Keep going. Don’t stop until Bianca is satisfied.”

A hulking guard blocked my view, his thick hand smashing against my face again. Through

the gaps between his body, I saw the husband I had once loved settle Bianca onto his lap,

carefully stroking the cheek I’d hit, gently pressing an ice pack to her skin.

“Mr. Ashford, she’s coughing blood.”

The guard stopped. Landon’s hand on Bianca’s waist paused.

He looked up. The first thing he saw was me spitting out a mouthful of blood, glaring at him

through locked teeth. “Why?”

“What?”

“Why are you doing this to me?”

I fought through the dizziness, jaw clenched tight. “I never wronged you. What gives you the

right?”

Landon set Bianca down. In the next moment, his hand clamped onto my chin with enough

force to crush bone.

“You only married into this family because you claimed you saved my life. But I know who

really rescued me now. You stole that from her, took everything she deserved, made me lose

her for years. And you stand here telling me you never wronged me?”

I froze. My eyes shot to Bianca. A flash of panic crossed her face before she hurried to loop her arm through Landon’s. “Landon, she borrowed so much money tonight. Why don’t we help

her pay it back?”

The murderous look on Landon’s face softened instantly. He turned, grabbed the microphone,

and made sure everyone could hear. “Let’s be clear. Whatever she commits to tonight-that’s

on her. Not Ashford Group. My legal team will draw up the separation agreement shortly, and

you’re all welcome to watch.”

Just then, a man in a suit pushed through the door. “Mr. Ashford, that pigeon blood ruby Miss

Vance was eyeing just surfaced at Sotheby’s.”

Landon raised an eyebrow, annoyance flickering across his face. “If Miss Vance wants it, you

make a no-limit bid. Why exactly are you telling me this?”

“Yes, sir.”

The man hurried to leave. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught me with blood at the corner

of my mouth. His eyes widened slightly, but he professionally pretended not to notice.

“Wait.”

Landon stopped him. “On second thought, buy out the entire auction.”

The man turned back, stunned. “Sir… all one hundred thirty-eight lots? You want to clean sweep all of them?”

Landon making clean sweep bids on pieces he liked was standard practice. But buying out an entire auction was unheard of. In all his years working for Landon, he’d never witnessed

anything like it.

“Miss Vance was slapped by someone insolent today. I’m giving her a gift to soothe her

nerves.”

Landon said it like it was nothing. The man swallowed hard and shot me a complicated look

before nodding and leaving.

“Landon Ashford.”

I stood up and spat out a mouthful of blood. “I misjudged you.”

He frowned. I had already turned and walked away.

That night, I hosted a gathering at the Waterfront Estate with my close friends.

My best friend Paige Sullivan slammed down her glass. “This is unreal. If you hadn’t dragged him out of that hellhole back then, he’d be dead a hundred times over.”

A circle of women took turns icing my face, wincing in sympathy. “Landon was beyond cruel. We all remember, you shattered your leg searching for him on that mountain trip. You carried him for a full day and a night, and now somehow Bianca’s the one who did it?”

I steadied myself and had a staff member bring out the photos and audio files I had

collected.

“Everything I have on Bianca, her affairs with your husbands or your fiancés, it’s all here.

Thank you for backing me at the auction. Without you, those men would’ve turned my private

photos into their personal spank bank. Probably would’ve ended up everywhere by now.”

When I went to the restroom before the auction, it wasn’t just to break down. I had called

them, and they wired me the support I needed.

Most of them had been my friends for years. More than that, marriages in this circle often

came with assets on the line. Getting proof of a spouse’s infidelity meant way more leverage

in a divorce.
