Live Wedding: I Married My Fiancé’s Rival on the Spot Chapter 07

That voice. Mason had heard it for three years. He’d recognize it with his eyes closed.

But that sentence just now.

She’d called him “honey.”

Adrian finally looked up. Spoke slowly.

“Hear that? My wife’s calling me.’

Mason’s mind buzzed. He shoved the door open hard.

The door slammed against the wall. Loud crash.

On the hospital bed, Selena’s mother half-reclined. Still pale. But spirits much better than before.

She held a bracelet, pushing it into Selena’s hand.

“Take it.”

“Now that you’re married, this is the wedding gift I prepared for you.”

Selena still wore her wedding dress. Hair not yet undone. Head down, smiling, refusing.

Hearing the noise, she turned.

Saw Mason. Her smile didn’t disappear. Just swept over him lightly.

Then looked past him to Adrian at the door.

“Honey, come thank Mom.”

Mason stepped forward. Voice already hoarse.

“Selena. Come out. I need to talk to you.”

Adrian walked into the room. Hand naturally landed on Selena’s shoulder.

“Say it here. She’s exhausted today. Doesn’t want to move.”

Mason’s fist cracked. Temple veins bulging.

“Adrian, do you even know what you’re doing?”

“She’s my fiancée!”

“Ex-fiancée.” Adrian corrected flatly. “Before today.”

“After today, she’s my wife.”

He paused. Corner of his mouth lifted slightly.

“Alliance records are already synced. Family seal stamped. Want to see?”

Mason was shaking with rage.

“Selena… you have to punish me like this?”

“I look away for one second, and you ran off to sign a marriage contract with someone else? What do our three years mean to you?”

I heard this. Actually laughed.

She tilted her head, looking at Mason. Eyes like looking at a stranger.

“You think I’m punishing you?”

Mason’s face paled bit by bit.

He’d anticipated every outcome. Even imagined her flipping the entire wedding venue.

Never imagined she’d turn around and marry Adrian Vitale.

His Adam’s apple bobbed. Voice tight.

“Selena, I mean-wait for me. I’ll handle this-”

“Handle?” I interrupted lightly. “Veiled, under livestream cameras, waiting for a groom who’d never come?”

Mason froze. He rushed forward urgently.

“Haven’t you always wanted a wedding that’s truly yours?”

“We can redo it. Whatever style you

like.”

My eyes held zero ripple.

I looked at Mason. Smiled lightly.
