I Told My Stepbrother to Kidnap His Crush, So He Kidnapped Me Chapter 09By Novel7s / May 29, 2026 I Told My Stepbrother to Kidnap His Crush, So He Kidnapped Me Chapter 09He wasn’t being subtle. Even an idiot could tell what he meant. I’d rather get kissed. I shoved him off and scrambled up. “No next step! No!” I pointed at him. “This is wrong!” He leaned back in the chair and looked up at me. “What’s wrong about it?” “Everything!” “I’m just following someone’s excellent advice.” That someone–me–sputtered. “I told you to kidnap your crush! Not me!” He raised an eyebrow. “Aren’t you my crush?” “I’m your step–sister!” Blake said, “And?” I choked. “I’m your sister!” “OK.” Getting an “ok” as a reply is infuriating. I was so mad. “Why did you bring me here? And what about my crush? Where’s Tyler?” up. He showed up instead of Tyler. Obviously something was “I gave him some money. He backed out.” Then he propped his chin on his hand and smiled. “And as for bringing you here… your advice was to keep her in the basement, right? See? I listen.” But Blake didn’t actually do anything. It’s not like I wanted to be in the basement anyway. The whole “basement” thing was for atmosphere. Bedroom would’ve been better. The basement didn’t have a real bedroom. Just an office. The office was uncomfortable. I moved back to my old room. Much better bed. I’d slept so long the day before that I woke up an hour earlier than usual. I yawned my way downstairs. Blake was in the kitchen. I leaned against the doorframe. “What’s for breakfast?” “Sandwiches.” “I don’t want sandwiches. I want breakfast biscuits.” “Not enough time.” “But I want them.” “There’s none nearby.” I insisted, “I want them! I’ll starve to death without breakfast biscuits!” He set down his spatula. “Fine. Stay put. I’ll go buy you some.” That’s better. I told him, “Get me one sausage biscuit and one egg biscuit. And a soy milk.” He ruffled my hair and left. Once his car engine faded completely, I thought for two seconds. Blake’s gone. Should I run? I took ten minutes to pack. Threw some clothes in a suitcase, grabbed my phone and purse. Thank god I always keep my driver’s license in my phone case. The house manager saw me leave. “Miss Quinn, where are you going?” “Out.” Blake hadn’t told him to lock me down. The manager tried to call a driver for me, but the driver wasn’t around. So I called an uber. While I waited, I texted my mom. [I’m going away for a few days.] She replied instantly. [With who?] [Myself.] [Be safe.] And that was it. She’s always been pretty laid–back. I’m a sophomore in college. Traveling alone for a few days isn’t a big deal. The car arrived. I climbed in the back and gave the driver an address.
