Stellan’s eyes locked onto me the second he walked in.

His face went cold.

He strode over and pulled out the chair beside me, sitting down like he owned the place.

He turned to me with a sarcastic smirk.

“No texts. No calls. Blocked me.”

“And now you’re here, laughing with him?”

I put down my chopsticks, my appetite gone.

“We broke up. I don’t owe you an explanation about who I eat with.”

He laughed-but his eyes didn’t.

“Odessa, I get it now.”

“All that fuss about some exchange spot.”

“You broke up with me so you could go abroad with him?”

“When exactly did you start cheating? Tell me.”

Before I could respond, Faye hurried over, her voice urgent and soft.

“Stellan, don’t misunderstand. They’re not like that.”

The waiter approached with a bright smile.

“Excuse me — your couple’s special – should we bring it to this table?”

The air froze.

I turned to Stellan.

“You booked a couple’s special with her, and you’re asking me about cheating?”

He shifted, uncomfortable.

“It’s not what you think. It’s just a set menu.”

Faye panicked, turning to Ronan.

“Ronan, this isn’t what you think–”

But Ronan didn’t even glance at her.

His eyes stayed on me.

Then he gave me a small, mischievous look and said lightly.

“Oh? What if we ordered the couple’s special too?”

Stellan’s face went dark.

He spun to me, eyes sharp. “What are you to him?”

“How dare you order a couple’s special with him?”

I picked up the bill and threw it in front of him.

There was no couple’s special on it.

“So you do know what a couple’s special is.”

Stellan looked down at the receipt.

He froze.

Ronan let out a quiet, mocking laugh.

“So it’s fine when you do it with another woman.”

Stellan’s face twisted- ugly and cornered.
