I Froze for 4 Hours Outside While He Threw a Party with Her Chapter 10

He still wanted to argue.

I raised my hand to stop him.

“Don’t tell me you love me very much. I’ve seen what you look like when you love me. So I also know exactly what you look like when you don’t.”

“No one’s love is made of the silent treatment. Avoidance. Coldness. Neglect. And hurting her and her

family.”

“And no one’s love involves finding someone else to step in before it’s even over.”

“You really did just feel that after being together too long, the feelings faded. There was no spark anymore.”

“I accept that. Even though it took me a very long time to accept that fact.”

“But you shouldn’t have handled it so irresponsibly.”

I looked at him flatly.

“Right now, you’ve only just discovered that I suddenly left. So you’re not used to it, that’s all.”

“After all, you probably never even thought about truly breaking up with me. But I brought it up first.”

“If I hadn’t brought it up, the ending between us would probably have been you thinking it through completely, deciding that you really did just find it all meaningless, and then you being the one to break up with me.”

We were very close, but the distance between our hearts was vast.

Julian murmured.

“I never thought about breaking up with you.”

He wanted to explain. To explain that this was his true feeling.

To explain that day, it hadn’t been that he deliberately wanted to force me to apologize.

It was that he saw, in the way I looked at him, nothing but coldness and hatred.

I had never looked at him with those eyes before. So, in a moment of impulsive anger, he had acted out.

But when the words reached his mouth, he couldn’t get them out no matter what. Because no matter how he said it, it all sounded like excuses.

I blocked and deleted Julian again.

He didn’t come looking for me anymore.

In this city, every day, there are lovesick men and bitter women everywhere.

I had also come across couples fighting in public.

The woman was sobbing uncontrollably. The man’s face was full of impatience.

He tossed out a line, “Can you stop being so dramatic? It’s exhausting for me.”

Then he walked away directly.

I walked up and handed her a tissue.

She cried herself out, then started agonizing again.

“When you first get together, he thinks everything about you is wonderful.”

“After being together a long time, just asking a single question makes him annoyed. He blames you for

acting like a crazy person.”

“Is it really that I was going too far?”

The way she looked trapped-it was just like I used to be.

In places where Julian couldn’t see me, I had waited for him, tears streaming down my face.

Later, I came to understand. The fact that he gave one hundred percent of his love at the very beginning proved he had the ability to give one hundred percent.

When he couldn’t do it later, it wasn’t that he had lost that ability. It was simply that he no longer loved me.

Through tear after tear, I accepted the fact that Julian did not love me.

Then I learned to withdraw. I learned to let go.

I came to understand that the ending between some people, in the end,

is nothing more than this-when he no longer loves me, I no longer love him either.
