“You gave me the ring, moved me into this house, and told me to wear her dress.”

“Don’t pretend to be heartbroken now, Adrian.”

His face went pale.

Tessa laughed as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“You’re the most disgusting one of us.”

“Maren waited for you for five years, and you hid from her.”

“Now that she’s dead, you regret it.’

“Who did you ever love?”

“You only loved yourself.”

Dead silence filled the foyer.

The police took Tessa away.

As she passed Adrian, she laughed softly.

Adrian did not move.

He bent down and picked it up.
