How To Tame A Hot Twin Incubus? Chapter 14

How To Tame A Hot Twin Incubus? Chapter 14

Since there was only one bedroom, I thought about laying another quilt on the living room sofa, but once I put it down, I realized the sofa was too small, far from enough for the physique of an adult incubus.

Ezra saw my dilemma, picked up the old quilt from the sofa, and walked toward the utility room that hadn’t been fully cleaned out yet.

“What are you doing?”

The man pushed open the utility room door, revealing an iron bed frame that had already been set up inside.

He pointed it out to me, smiling shyly: “I can just sleep here from now on. It’s quite spacious.”

The more understanding Ezra was, the more I regretted and feared.

If I hadn’t gone to the black market that day, would he have been gone long ago?

I told him with a hoarse voice:

“You don’t have to do this. I still have money, and I will treat you very, very well from now on.

But the man shook his head, saying he was very content:

“You saved my life, and you’ve already been good enough to me. I was only lucky enough to be taken in by Master because of my brother.‘

“My foot is bad, I walk awkwardly, and I’ve gotten thin now. Compared to my brother, I really have no advantages. Just treat me as a free cleaner, or a punching bag when you’re angry. As long as I can provide meaningful value to you, feel free to order me around.”

I was just feeling touched.

When suddenly, a certain young man’s sarcastic voice came from behind:

“Oh, oh, oh, ‘feel free to order me around’-”

“Brother, you’ve been running your mouth all night. Go to sleep already. What’s with this whole loyal servant act? I’m speechless.”

I turned around in shock: “Milo, how can you speak to your brother like that?”

The young man sneered: “He’s trying to usurp someone’s place, don’t tell me you can’t see it.”

“What are you talking about? You’re being ridiculous.”

“He’s acting and playing the victim, can’t you see?

Don’t you know that an incubus becomes extremely petty after acknowledging a master?”

Well, I really didn’t know that.

Because the incubus I kept never acknowledged me as his master. Every day, apart from making me mad, he just gossiped behind my back about how I abused him.

“Milo, you’re the petty one here.

Your brother even volunteered to sleep in the storage room, how is that trying to usurp someone’s place?

Your words are always so harsh.”

I had already lost all expectations for Milo, but I didn’t expect that he wouldn’t just insult me, but even his brother would get scolded upon arriving.

Milo acted like he was crazy, suddenly grabbing Ezra by the collar and pushing him outward:

“This is my home to begin with, and that is my master! Get out, get out!”

Ezra stumbled from the push, nearly falling over.

Unable to bear it any longer, I ran into the bedroom, grabbed the contract from under my pillow, and threw it fiercely onto the floor.

“Milo, get the hell out!”

Ever since the time he bit me, I had been considering whether it was time to let go.

But I always felt there was still room to salvage things.

But now, he was still so unreasonable, still refusing to change. I couldn’t see a single shred of hope in him.

Milo let go.

He stared blankly at the contract on the floor with his name on it, then looked up at me, his lips trembling: “You’re telling me… to get out?”

I let out a deep sigh, composed my emotions, and bent down to pick up the certificate marking his belonging, handing it over calmly:

“I’m asking you to leave, to set you free. Sorry, my wording was inappropriate just now.”

Ezra reached out and tugged at my sleeve, his eyes full of worry as he stood in the middle to make peace: “I’m sorry, please don’t fight because of me. If my brother isn’t happy with it, I’ll move out. Just don’t fight.”

“It’s not because of you. We were never meant to be together anyway. You should know, he never liked me from the very beginning. Letting him go is exactly what he wants.”

I explained expressionlessly, waving the contract in my hand to signal him to take it.

But Milo stood there like a block of wood. Aside from his heavy, ragged breathing, he refused to lift a hand.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?”

I was very confused.

Was it wrong to let him go too?
