His Captive Obsession Chapter 11

His Captive Obsession Chapter 11

The first night passed without any drama.

I slept in Mom’s room while Ashton stayed next door.

I was still incredibly worried after reading all the scary rumors about how crazy my dad could be.

“Mom, I really wish Daddy would remember us. Maybe then he wouldn’t—”

Before I could say “ruin us,” Mom gently covered my mouth, her voice completely calm.

“Go to sleep, sweetie. Don’t say such scary things.”

If he remembered us, we could at least use the family card, but right now we were completely stuck.

“Just sleep, don’t worry about it,” she whispered, patting my back.

Even though everyone said Daddy was a monster, I felt like I was just watching an old friend put on a dramatic act.

At breakfast the next morning, Ashton was sent off to help move our things.

As I ate, I accidentally dropped a utensil and crawled under the table to get it.

That was when I saw Daddy’s dress shoe gently brushing against Mom’s calf, moving up and down in a slow, teasing circle.

How incredibly rude! Why was he kicking people?

I popped my head up immediately. “Mister, why are you kicking my mom? Apologize right now!”

Caught red-handed, a massive flush crept up his face, and he let out a awkward cough.

“My apologies, Miss Linton.”

“It’s fine,” Mom replied evenly.

Just then, Ashton came carrying our boxes into a large room on the first floor.

“Ashton, let me help you!” I called out, running over.

“No, no, it’s way too heavy,” he warned, shifting his weight.

He lost his balance, and the box tipped over, spilling its contents across the floor.

Chains, collars, handcuffs…

A security guard quickly stepped forward to cover my eyes. I recognized him—it was Mr. Clark, Daddy’s personal assistant, who used to take me out to play.

“So, these are the tools you used to keep me prisoner?” Daddy asked, stepping into the room.

Before Mom could say anything, Ashton blurted out, “Those are mine! You’re too old to understand what young people like to do in the bedroom!”

Daddy let out a soft, mocking chuckle. “Is that so? So she just kept me locked up, didn’t treat me like a dog, and didn’t humiliate me?”

“Wow, what great news.”

Strangely, his voice sounded almost disappointed.

“Yes,” Mom murmured softly.

“I see. That makes my plans for revenge look pretty pathetic.” Daddy leaned back against his chair, his eyes dark. “So how exactly should I punish you? For the time I lost, and the millions the company dropped because of my absence?”

“I can pay you back,” Mom offered.

Daddy laughed. “I don’t care about money.” He looked incredibly bored. “Whatever. You guys can just work as my housekeepers for a few days.”
