He Streamed My Fifth Abortion For Her Chapter 05

He Streamed My Fifth Abortion For Her Chapter 05

The woman lying on the operating table wasn’t me.

It was Vivian.

Damien’s phone slipped from his fingers and crashed onto the floor, the screen splintering at one corner.

He staggered backward as if every bone had been ripped from his body, slamming into the wall.

“No… no… this can’t be right…”

With shaking hands, he yanked the surgical drape aside.

Vivian’s face.

Vivian’s body.

And across her abdomen, a fresh incision stitched neatly shut.

A total hysterectomy.

It was over.

Clean. Complete. Nothing had been left behind.

Vivian would never be able to have children again.

Because she had already lost all sensation below the waist, only her upper body required general anesthesia. The surgery had gone smoothly from beginning to end.

Caleb stood nearby, his face dark with fury, saying nothing.

Like a man possessed, Damien grabbed the nearest nurse.

“Where’s my wife?! My wife was the one taken into surgery! Clara Harrington!”

The terrified nurse instinctively stepped back, her voice trembling.

“Mr. Sterling, today’s patient was Ms. Vivian Winslow. The procedure was a total hysterectomy. Ms. Winslow

signed the informed consent before surgery, and you also signed as her authorized family representative.”

“I signed for Clara Harrington’s surgery!” Damien roared.

The nurse quickly pulled up the electronic consent form on her tablet.

[Patient: Vivian Winslow

Procedure: Total Hysterectomy

Patient Signature: Vivian Winslow

Authorized Family Signature: Damien Sterling]

The signatures stared back at him in black and white.

Damien’s pupils constricted violently.

Vivian’s signature.

He recognized her handwriting instantly.

His own signature had come from the stack of paperwork the nurse handed him that morning.

He hadn’t read a single page.

He had simply signed.

Because he had believed I was the one lying inside that operating room.

He stumbled backward, shaking his head.

“No… Vivian would never agree to this…”

The nurse retreated another step, too frightened to answer.

Caleb finally spoke.

His voice was as cold as sharpened steel.

“You signed the paperwork yourself. You verbally approved the procedure yourself. The hospital has both audio and video recordings of everything. And now you’re saying it’s impossible?”

Damien whipped around.

Caleb met his eyes without flinching.

“Your wife was ten times smarter than you. You didn’t even bother reading the consent form before signing

Then you stood outside those operating room doors and personally authorized the surgery.”
His voice became even colder.

“You destroyed the uterus of the woman you loved most with your own hands, Damien.”

Every trace of blood drained from Damien’s face.

His lips trembled.

“Clara… where is she?”

Caleb reached into his pocket and tossed him a large manila envelope.

“She left. She walked out of the hospital at five this morning.”

Damien tore it open so violently he nearly shredded the paper.

Inside was a single handwritten letter.

Only a few lines.

The handwriting was steady.

Not a single correction.

[Damien,

You told me that with general anesthesia, I’d fall asleep and wake up with everything over.

This time, your beloved Vivian got to be the one who slept.

You signed the papers.

Now she’s the one without a uterus.

Just like the past three years, when the two of you took my babies away one after another until there were

none left.

I’m leaving with my child.

The divorce papers are in the nightstand drawer. Sign them or don’t. I honestly don’t care anymore.

One last thing.

Ask Vivian about Ethan Rhodes.

Ask her who she was really trying to save when she jumped off that building.]

The letter slipped from Damien’s fingers and drifted silently onto the floor.

He stood frozen in the middle of the hallway.

Behind him, the operating room light finally went dark.

The woman inside still hadn’t regained consciousness.

When Vivian woke up and discovered her uterus was gone, she’d find two signatures on the consent form.

Her own.

And Damien’s.

There would never be a way for him to explain that.

His back slid slowly down the wall until he collapsed onto the floor.

Burying his face in both hands, his shoulders shook uncontrollably.

Caleb looked down at him one last time.

Then he said quietly,

“She warned you to leave yourself a way back. You never listened.”
