He was furious.

That afternoon, he drove sports car to the front of my office.

A coworker recognized him.

“Isn’t that the handsome guy from that concert video?”

Noah greeted them.

“I’m here to pick up Emma.”‘

“She’s my girlfriend.”

Then he turned to Julian, whose face had gone completely dark, and introduced him.

“Oh. This is my brother.”

Everyone suddenly understood.

Julian treated me differently because I was his younger cousin’s girlfriend.

Noah was easygoing. In no time, he was chatting comfortably with people from the company.

When we left, he even said he’d buy everyone dinner next time.

As I got into the car, I could feel a gaze fixed on my back.

Once I sat down, Noah received a call.

“You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

Noah raised a brow.

“Bro, Emma is my girlfriend. What you’re doing is seriously out of line.”

On the other end, Julian sneered.

“If I’d known, I never would’ve let you meet her.”

Noah’s tone turned serious.

“But she and I were meant to meet. One way or another, it would’ve happened.”

Then his voice paused.

“And you two had fate, but not a future. Bro, you misunderstood her. You hurt her. Did you forget all of that?”

After Noah made that scene, Julian stopped coming to my company.

They sent someone else to handle the project.

I finally breathed easier.

A few days later, I heard that Julian and Noah had fought.

At the Whitmore family home, no less.

Julian had been raised under strict rules since childhood.

After the Whitmore elders learned that Julian had coveted his younger cousin’s girlfriend, they discussed it all night.

In the end, they decided to send him abroad for another two years.
