He Mistook Me for Her. His Brother Fell for Me Chapter 03

I deleted every message.

I also stopped searching Julian’s company.

I stopped watching his interviews too.

But I lived in the student apartment, and Chloe kept bringing him up.

She said they were together now.

He had confessed first.

That night, he took her to a movie. By chance, the theater was almost empty, and the entire room held only the two of them.

She gathered her courage and tried to hold his hand.

But the second she leaned closer, he dodged.

“He looks like he knows exactly what he’s doing, but deep down, he’s such a gentleman.”

“I don’t know why, but being with him makes me uneasy. He’s too good. There are too many girls around him.”

But I wanted to say something.

Julian was actually devoted. He had never had any so-called exes or female confidantes.

From start to finish, he had only ever taken the initiative once. He had asked for Chloe’s WhatsApp.

That was how much he must have liked her.

One roommate gave Chloe advice.

“Ask him out of town this weekend. Just the two of you, alone in a hotel room. He’ll make a move.”

“If that doesn’t work, take us with you. We’ll help set the mood.”

I sighed, put in my earbuds, and turned the music all the way up.

Just then, a strange girl knocked on the door.

“Is Emma here?”

“Noah Whitmore is looking for you.”

The room fell silent.

Chloe froze. The smile on her face vanished as she frowned at me.

“You know Noah?”

I shook my head.

“I don’t know him.”

But the girl had clearly said my name.

I was afraid it might be something important, so I hurried downstairs.
