He Fed Me to the Beasts and Called It Love Chapter 06

He Fed Me to the Beasts and Called It Love Chapter 06: I’ll Give You Your Goddamn Proof!

“Bullshit! She was hemorrhaging back then, and the smell of her blood whipped every single predator in the arena into a killing frenzy! You locked her up with those savage beasts–there is no f*ckng way she could have survived!”

Ethan still refused to believe it.

“It was just a minor surgery. A few hemostatic pills would have fixed her right up. Besides, it was just to consecrate the bone flute. I already promised her I’d take her home the second it was done. Tell her to stop throwing a tantrum.”

“You, my friend, have been completely blinded by her. She is nothing but a loose, wicked woman. I’m telling you, stay the f*ck away from her.”

His best friend was too furious to even speak, his rage dissolving into a heavy sigh.

“This is the official report from the beast colosseum. I just hope you won’t regret this after you read it.”

He slapped the autopsy report onto the desk and turned to storm out.

Ethan spared a disdainful glance at the paperwork. “Ha. They really went all out making this fake report look real.”

Yet, his eyes froze on an attached photograph.

The woman in the picture had been mauled beyond recognition by predators, dying an excruciatingly gruesome death.

A terrifying realization suddenly flashed through his mind.

*Could this report… actually be true?*

Ethan’s hands began to tremble violently as his eyes scanned the text: *“The deceased, Chloe Vance. Suffered multiple fractures across her body. Massive maternal hemorrhage caused by the forced extraction of the fetus. Eyes…”

Watching Ethan’s frantic reaction, a surge of malicious venom flashed through Hailey’s eyes.

*Ethan was supposed to loathe that b*tch. How could he actually be getting anxious over her? *

*Well, thank goodness she’s dead. Now no one will ever compete with me for Ethan again.*

Hailey gasped dramatically, covering her mouth in feigned shock.

“Oh my god… this photo looks so horribly Photoshopped. Chloe went way too far this time.”

“Ethan, you can’t keep spoiling her like this. She’s just-

“Shut the f*ck up!” Ethan roared in pure rage.

Hailey shut her mouth, burning with resentment.

*He actually dared to yell at me for that dead b*tch Chloe Vance!*

Ethan’s voice cracked, sounding completely raspy. “Get the car ready for the beast arena immediately. I want

to know exactly what the hell happened.”

“I distinctly ordered them to only give her a minor lesson… How could she possibly be dead?”

Hailey was too terrified by his fury to make another sound.

The bodyguards looked at Ethan’s explosive rage, and none of them wanted to risk their lives by speaking

up.
Inside the speeding car, Hailey tried to soothe him cautiously.

“Don’t worry too much, Ethan. What if this is just another one of Chloe’s sick pranks?”

Ethan turned a deaf ear to her, staring blankly at the photo on the report in a daze.

Suddenly, his friend’s words about the live playback echoed in his head.

He tapped his phone open. Instantaneously, my blood–curdling screams and desperate pleas for mercy filled the entire vehicle.

The AC wasn’t even turned on, yet a bone–chilling coldness instantly gripped his entire body.

Ethan muttered to himself frantically, “It’s fake. It’s all a lie.”

After all, I loved him so deeply. How could I possibly just die like that?

To save him from alcohol poisoning at business dinners. I had drunk myself into gastric bleeding.

When he was in mortal danger, I had thrown my own body in front of him without a second thought.

When the Foster Group faced total bankruptcy, it was I who begged everyone on my knees to help the company survive the crisis.

The car slammed to a halt at the entrance of the beast arena.

Ethan dragged Hailey straight toward my designated quarters.

Before they even stepped inside, a foul, nauseating stench of musk and blood assaulted their senses.

Hailey pinched her nose in absolute disgust.

“Ethan, it smells putrid in here. Let’s get out of here right now.”

Ethan froze dead in his tracks. Staring at the massive bloodstains pooling on the ground, he let out a scoff of utter disbelief.

“I get it now. This has to be a giant conspiracy cooked up by you guys just to force me to come here.”

“Well, I’m here now! Tell Chloe to get her *ss out here this instant!”

“How dare she fake her death just to trick me? She must be dynamic for a death wish.”

The guards trembled with absolute terror,

“Number 138… she’s… she’s no longer here, sir.”

Ethan violently kicked the guard to the ground.

“What the f*ck do you mean ‘no longer here‘?! Get her out here right now!”

“Or I will tear this entire f*ckng place to the ground!”

His best friend rushed over, grabbing Ethan to stop him from kicking the guard again.

“What the hell are you doing here?!”

Ethan forced down his raging fury.

“I’m here to take her home. Tell Chloe Vance to get out here right now.”

“If she shows herself this second, I might consider letting her off the hook for lying to me.”

Without another word, his friend dragged Ethan directly into the center of the beast arena and pointed at a scattered pile of gnawed, crushed bones.

“Open your f*ckng eyes and look closely! Chloe was already mauled to death by the beasts!”

Ethan’s voice dropped into a raspy, animalistic growl.

“I don’t believe you! It’s all fake! This is nothing but a setup by you people!”

“You want proof? I’ll give you your goddamn proof!”
