After losing the Ricci family’s authorization and protection, Blair could no longer remain at our school.

The same people who used to follow her everywhere were the first to turn on her.

“You really can act. Pretending to be the family head’s daughter all those years.”

“You stole the real daughter’s place and even took her

mother’s heirloom. You have no shame.”

“Give back the gift I gave you. I brought that all the way from Europe.”

“How’s she supposed to give it back? The Riccis already took away her accounts and her driver.”

Blair endured it for a long time before finally snapping.

“Don’t push me.”

When she left the estate, she had only been allowed to take what was truly hers.

She now wore a washed-out old school uniform and looked like a completely different person.

She looked at Kevin, waiting for him to speak up for her.

He just looked away.

“Push you?” someone laughed. “You used to hide behind the family’s protection to make everyone stay away from Genevieve. Now that it’s gone, you can’t take it?

“This is just how we are. What are you going to do about it?”

A half-finished carton of yogurt flew through the air and splattered across her face.

The classroom erupted in laughter.
