Don, I Left as You Wished Chapter 06By Novel7s / May 23, 2026 Don, I Left as You Wished Chapter 06Carlo slammed on the gas, racing down the streets toward the mansion. His mind raced. He shouldn’t have taken her grandmother’s heirloom without permission; that was why she was so furious. He could just have a jeweler remake an exact same one for her. He could admit he was wrong this one time. Celeste never held grudges against him anyway. She would forgive him. Damiano was drowning in anxiety too. The guilt of the photos ate at him, and he deeply regretted not stopping Carlo in the club. He dialed her familiar number over and over. Every single call went straight to a dead tone. When they finally burst into Celeste’s bedroom, the room was completely empty. Amidst the clutter, a single abandoned suitcase sat in the center of the room. The two men exchanged a look, both secretly breathing a sigh of relief. “She hasn’t left yet,” Damiano said. “Have our men track her down right now.” “I knew she wouldn’t just vanish,” Carlo muttered. Suddenly, Damiano’s phone buzzed in his hand. “Don Damiano, I found what you asked for,” his investigator said. “But…” Damiano didn’t have the patience to listen. He hung up and clicked open the audio file sent to his phone. It was a recorded conversation between Diana Ricci and her friend. “This has to go perfectly,” Diana’s recorded voice said. “I’m coming back, and no one gets between me, Damiano, and Carlo. I’ll destroy Celeste.” “Don’t worry, Diana. I leaked the photos and her number,” her friend replied. “Carlo and Damiano hate her anyway. Carlo even sent some thugs to scare her.” Diana’s cruel laughter echoed through the speaker. “Keep it clean,” Diana ordered. “They can never find out. “The thugs have nothing to do with us. I just added some pushed her a little further down the hole.. Don’t forget what you promised me.” Carlo’s composure shattered completely upon hearing the recording. He whirled around, roaring at Damiano. “You said the leak was an accident! What the hell is this?!” Damiano stood frozen, his mind entirely blank. “I never wanted to leak them,” Damiano stammered. “I was blackout drunk that night. I didn’t know someone took my phone.” “I’ll fix this. I have to find Celeste and explain.” The Barone family’s enforcers worked fast. Within hours, everyone involved was dragged into a private Barone warehouse–including Diana, straight from her hospital bed. Diana had never been treated like this. She began to sob the moment she saw them. “Don Carlo, Don Damiano! Your men are insane!” she cried. “Tell them to untie me right now!” Before she could finish, Carlo kicked her chair down. His hand wrapped brutally around her throat, veins bulging with terrifying rage. “What did you do to Celeste?” he growled, choking her. “Tell the truth, or you die right here.”
