Divorce Over a Bow on a Coat Chapter 06

Just as I was about to press play, Walker burst into the

room.

“Odessa, is this true? Sophia… she’s not my daughter?”

He looked utterly devastated.

He snatched the reports from the table and read them over and over, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes.

After a moment, he tore them to shreds.

“Odessa, you… forget it. Let’s just pretend today never

happened.”

“Sophia is still my daughter. Let’s go home, okay?”

“You’ve been the most important person in my life for so long. I can’t live without you.”

“Let’s stop all this. Let’s go back to how things were, all right?”

As he spoke, he opened his arms, about to pull me into an

embrace.

The viewers in the livestream went wild.

“Oh my God, this man is so in love with her. He’s willing to forgive her even after this.”

“Mr. Walker, look at me instead! I would never do this to you.”

“God, please give me a man like Mr. Walker.”

The moment Walker stepped forward, I shoved him back.

“Walker, are you still acting? Even now?”

“Did you think tearing up those papers would make the evidence disappear?”

I gave him a cold look, picked up my phone, and pressed play on the recording.

A woman’s calm voice filled the silence.

It was Walker’s mother, Carol.
