How To Tame A Hot Twin Incubus? Chapter 05

This place was a chaotic mix of all sorts of people.

It was dirty and messy.

There were peddlers selling incubus everywhere.

Some sickly ones were locked in cramped iron cages by the roadside, the horns on their heads half sawn off. They looked truly pitiful.

“Hey, hey, miss, want to take a look?

A rare male elk incubus, name your price and he’s yours!”

I had only glanced over for a second before a burly merchant called out to me. Unfortunately, I was dead broke and couldn’t help even if I wanted to, so I just quickened my pace and walked further in.

Following my memory, I found that shady shop from last year.

It was still open for business.

The boss was dozing off at the front door, and he didn’t even wake up when I stepped inside.

So, I slowed my steps and quietly slipped around to the backyard.

As soon as I stepped inside, I heard a familiar male voice:

“Brother, has anyone planned to buy you these past few days?”

It was Milo’s voice.

So he sneaked out just to see his brother.

I stopped moving and just stood behind the door, continuing to listen to their conversation

“A customer came last week and saw me twice, but didn’t pay in the end. I’m disabled, nobody wants me.”

“Brother, if you hadn’t tried to save me when we were kids, your leg wouldn’t have been broken by those traffickers. It was my fault for sneaking out to play and dragging you down.

“I’m so sorry, brother.”

“I’m fine, Milo, it’s not your fault.”

Ezra was locked inside a large iron cage, an iron collar still fastened around his neck. He gripped the iron bars with both hands, and even though he was choked so tightly it was hard to breathe, he still comforted Milo with a gentle expression.

“I have never blamed you; I only hope you live well.

You are a free man now, no longer a commodity on the black market. Forget all those unhappy things from the past.”

Milo squatted outside the iron cage, resting his arms on his knees, and let out an indignant snort:

“I’m not exactly free. The woman who bought me is terrified I’ll run away and keeps me on a tight leash.”
