I Forgot My Alpha. Now He’s Obsessed. Chapter 09

In the holding facility, Jaxson and Ava were completely broken, barely clinging to life.

The Beta stood to the side, coldly informing them that Grey Crown’s assets had been frozen and their territory had officially been absorbed by the Thorne Pack.

When I walked in with Mike, they looked at us as if we were their final saving grace.

Jaxson dragged himself across the floor, grabbing the hem of my pants.

“Florence, you came to save me, right?”

“Alistair has lost his mind. Take us out of here, notify the Werewolf Council! Put him in prison!”

Mike was already wailing in terror, hiding behind my legs to avoid looking at the bloodied state of his

parents.

I pulled him out forcefully and threw him into Ava’s arms.

“You wanted your parents? Here they are.

Jaxson stared at me in shock, his voice rising in anger.

“How can you be so cruel to Mike? He’s your son!”

“Take us to the hospital first.”

“Now that you remember everything, dissolve your bond with Alistair and come back to me!”

“I swear I’ll kick Ava out of the pack!”

I slapped him hard across the face.

Then, I grabbed the medical files and threw them at his head.

“Jaxson, look at what your precious sister–in–law had the guards do to me in prison.”

“And by the way, your older brother never abused her.”

“She murdered him in cold blood because he discovered her affair.”

“She did it to keep her position in the pack!”

“I was truly blind to have ever loved a fool like you.”

My chest heaved with rage as I slapped him again and again.

“This is for my lost babies, and this is for my mother.”

“Jaxson, you are a piece of trash. I will never forgive you.”

Alistair quickly stepped in, pulling me into his chest to calm me down.

Having learned the truth, Jaxson’s face twisted in horror.

He turned and grabbed Ava by her hair, shaking her violently.

“You lying bitch! You did that to Florence while she was serving your sentence?!”

Ava, her face covered in blood and her teeth shattered, bit his hand viciously.

“You pathetic Alpha! You believed every word I said! You’re the one who destroyed her, not me!”

“Do you really think she’ll ever take you back? Grey Crown is finished!”

Mike sat on the floor, crying at the top of his lungs. He finally tried to crawl toward me, sobbing,

“Mam… Mom, I’m sorry…”

I stepped back, showing no emotion.

“You will all pay for what you’ve done.”

“As for the child, I will have him placed in a reputable orphanage and set up a monthly trust for his

expenses.”

“When you finish your prison sentence, Jaxson, you can take him back.”

With those final words, I took Alistair’s arm, and we walked out of the dark room together.

The Werewolf Council ensured they received the maximum punishment.

Ava was sentenced to life imprisonment in a high–security facility for murder and conspiracy.

Jaxson was stripped of his Alpha title and sentenced to seven years of hard labor in the silver mines of Shadowpine–a fate far worse than death for a man who had only ever known luxury.

Before Mike was taken to the orphanage, he wept, begging for his mother.

But I only offered him a cold, final glance before walking away. My duty as his mother had ended years ago.

A year later, Alistair and I were standing by the floor–to–ceiling windows of our estate in the Northern

Territories.

A gentle warmth filled my belly as I felt the tiny, new life kicking inside me.

Alistair wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder. “Sweetheart,

what should we name our little pup?”

“Anything you want,” I whispered, a genuine smile gracing my lips.

As long as he was by my side, our world was finally perfect.
