My Brother Denied Me for His Girlfriend Then the Livestream Turned on Them Chapter 05

I looked up.

Uncle Tom, Uncle Lewis, and my cousin Liam were standing there.

They’d clearly rushed over. All three were breathing hard.

Uncle Tom told me my parents had stumbled across the livestream and realized Louis had kicked me out of the family group chat.

They had immediately called relatives who lived nearby and asked them to get to me first.

Mom and Dad were already on a flight home and would arrive in a few hours.

The second I realized my family was finally here, I broke.

I burst into tears and told them everything Hailey had done.

Uncle Tom turned toward Hailey, who was still sprawled on the ground.

He was normally the calmest man in the family, but even he had reached his limit.

“Have you lost your mind? Louis and Leslie have the same parents. You showed up here, broke into

her home, and attacked her without even checking the facts. You think the Rivers family is going to let you get away with that?”

Hailey’s cheek had swollen badly from the slap, and her nose looked crooked.

The livestream comments immediately changed.

A wave of people unfollowed her because Hailey had repeatedly insisted that her face was

completely natural.

Panicking, she scrambled up and ended her own livestream.

It was too late.

The scene had become too big.

Bystanders had started their own livestreams, and viewers simply moved from one broadcast to

another.

Hailey pointed at Uncle Tom and shrieked.

“You hit me! I’m calling the police! I’ll have you arrested! I’m an influencer. What gives you the right to touch me?”

ncle Lewis, who had a much shorter temper, stepped in front of Tom.

“Influencer my ass. Who cares? You broke into my niece’s house, assaulted her, dragged her outside, and humiliated her in front of a crowd. And now you’re shocked somebody defended her?”.

He pulled out his phone.

“Go ahead and call the police. If you don’t, I will. Let’s see how confident you are once they hear

what you did.”

Hailey visibly faltered.

By then, she had probably realized I really was Louis’s sister.

But she’d kept the whole thing going for views.

She had assumed she could cry later, claim it was all a misunderstanding, and walk away.

Now she was biting her nails, clearly trying to think of a

way out.

Uncle Lewis raised his phone to dial.

Before he could, Louis shoved through the crowd and knocked the phone out of his hand.

“Don’t call the police!” he shouted.
