The Alpha Aunt They Framed Chapter 10

The Alpha Aunt They Framed Chapter 10

MAREN’S POV

Time passed quickly.

Before I knew it, the day of the graduation exam had arrived.

To be honest, I was still surprised that, after that day, Elara didn’t cause a single problem.

Our conversations were reduced to nothing more than a few words during meals.

When the graduation exam results were released, it was no surprise that Brielle was accepted into

Yale University once again.

But in my first life, she had only barely made the cut and ended up in a less competitive major.

This time, she was admitted as the top student in the entire pack territory and ranked second across

the entire region. She could choose any major she wanted.

As for Elara, without the tutoring I paid for out of my own pocket and Brielle’s guidance, things

turned out very differently.

She also spent far too much time on things unrelated to studying, causing her grades to drop

dramatically.

This time, she only got into an ordinary state university.

Although I didn’t end up with two Yale students in the family, Brielle’s achievement as the

second-ranked student in the entire region was still incredibly impressive.

Countless pack media reporters rushed to our house again.

Just as I was sharing my experience raising children, Elara, Colin, and Yvonne suddenly barged in.

“Maren Blackwell, I’ve always called you Maren out of respect, but look what you did. You abused

our daughter for an entire year and caused her to only get into an ordinary state university. You’re

responsible for this!”

The pack media reporters had no idea what was happening. They simply raised their cameras and

kept filming.

“Me? I abused her?”

“Exactly. This journal and this account are the evidence.”

Yvonne immediately joined in.

“Exactly. Our daughter could have gotten into Yale University. But because you mistreated her, forced her to do housework, humiliated her at school, and refused to let her study with a private tutor, she could only get into an ordinary state university. You have to take full responsibility.”

I almost laughed.

“Fine. How exactly do you want me to take responsibility?”

“Obviously, you’ll have to let our daughter repeat her senior year. And you’ll pay for all her tuition,

living expenses, and tutoring costs for the entire year until she gets into Yale University!”

I was speechless. This family was unbelievable.

Colin and Yvonne then signaled for Elara to show everyone the journal entries and read them aloud.

I watched as the pack reporters whispered among themselves.

Then one reporter stepped forward and held a camera and microphone in front of me.

“The journal Elara wrote, Because I’m an Omega, My Alpha Aunt Made Me Serve Her Daughter, sounds extremely sincere. She’s your niece, and even though she isn’t your biological child, don’t you feel guilty for treating her this way?”

In my first life, everything happened too suddenly. I was completely caught off guard and missed my chance to explain. By the time I tried to defend myself later, no one wanted to listen anymore.

But this time, I was prepared. I immediately showed them the videos from our home.

One showed Elara repeatedly insisting on doing housework while I refused several times. Another showed the moment she said she wanted to stop doing chores, and I immediately agreed.

There were also countless other videos documenting her daily life with us, proving that I had

treated both girls equally.

Then I showed the payment records proving Colin and Yvonne had only transferred $215 per week to me. I also presented a detailed list of both girls’ daily expenses, including rent, utilities, tuition,

and other costs.

I even showed records of my conversations with their teachers, proving that Colin and Yvonne had

barely involved themselves in their daughter’s education, while I was the one handling everything.

Clearly, Colin’s family never expected things to turn out this way.

The entire interview was livestreamed across the pack’s social network.

The comments exploded. Everyone called Colin’s family parasites. Not only had they let someone else raise their child while barely contributing, but they had also turned around and blamed the person who helped them.

Elara’s account was also exposed. People dug through every post and flooded the comments with

criticism. After hearing what happened, our relatives all condemned Colin’s family for their

behavior.

Unable to handle the backlash, Colin and Yvonne soon left again for another city to work.

As for Elara, the online harassment caused her mental state to deteriorate.

Every day, she wandered around muttering.

“This isn’t how it was supposed to happen.”

“I should have gone to Yale University with Brielle.”

“Everything changed… not me. It’s Aunt Maren who changed.”

“Right… if Aunt Maren dies, everything will go back to how it was before.”

Every time she went outside, she repeated those words like she had lost her mind.

After hearing that, I became even more cautious.

Later, when I was passing by the river where I had died in my first life, Elara suddenly rushed out from nowhere and pushed me into the water.

Luckily, because I had never been able to let go of my previous death by drowning, I had made sure to learn how to swim while the girls were still in school.

In the end, I managed to swim back to shore. As for Elara, she was charged with attempted murder.

However, due to her unstable mental state, she was sent to the Pack Forensic Medical Center.
