Grant’s voice was cold. “She signed the divorce agreement yesterday.”

The lawyer paused.

“Mr. Calloway, what Ms. Whitfield signed was the receipt of delivery.”

“She didn’t sign a single page of the actual agreement.”

Grant’s grip tightened on the documents.

The lawyer continued. “Ms. Whitfield has formally filed for divorce. Her claims include sole custody of the daughter, division of marital assets, and damages for emotional distress.”

“Additionally, she’s filed a motion to preserve evidence.”

Grant’s voice was hard. “On what grounds is she filing for divorce?”

The office went silent.

That afternoon, the videographer delivered the raw footage from the christening dinner.

In the video, Vivian approached Luna. I only blocked her hand.

The next second, Vivian stepped backward on her own, bumped into the low cabinet, and clutched her stomach, crying.

I didn’t push her. I said so that day.

But he never checked.

Vivian walked in with red-rimmed eyes.

Grant pushed the payment records in front of her.

Vivian froze, then quickly started crying again.

“I was just trying to protect my son.”

Her phone screen lit up.
