Starved Omega in Heat: My Alpha Ran to Another Chapter 02

Starved Omega in Heat: My Alpha Ran to Another Chapter 02 : The Breaking Point
Within hours, word spread through the entire pack: Zohan had spent all night f*cking Grace to “heal” her.
I got home to find my mother smashing a glass against the wall.
“Now everyone knows Zohan’s sleeping with his dead brother’s mate! Does he have any respect for Blood Moon Pack?”
“The bond is void. Tomorrow, I’m petitioning the Elder Council to dissolve it.”
Zohan’s parents showed up right then, catching her words. They started shouting.
“Zohan’s brother is dead! His brother stepping in to take care of the mate—even giving her a cub—that’s the perfect solution! He’s only using his seed to heal Grace’s body. What right do you have to break the bond?”
“Poor Oakley! Died so young saving Charlotte’s father. And this is how Blood Moon Pack repays us?”
My mother went pale with rage. She nearly stopped breathing.
I steadied her, staring at the arrogant couple in front of me. Something cold settled in my chest.
For years, I’d treated them like my own parents. When they were poisoned by wolfbane, I’d climbed a cliff bare-handed to gather herbs. I’d brewed their medicine and cared for them through seven days and nights. Almost died from infection myself.
And this was my reward—they’d indulged Zohan’s cheating, and then turned around and blamed me for it.
I hardened my expression; I didn’t want to engage with them further. My voice went flat. I had the guards throw them out.
Once Mom calmed down, I submitted the dissolution petition to the Elder Council right in front of her.
The moment it went through, Zohan messaged me: “Let’s talk.”
I brought Mom back to the house we’d shared for three years.
I pushed open the door—
Grace was naked, riding Zohan’s waist. She moved fast and hard.
She glanced at me. A flash of triumph crossed her face.
She tightened around him deliberately, leaned down, and kissed him deep. She moaned loud.
“Ahh… Zohan, you’re pounding me so fucking deep… If you come inside and get me pregnant, your mate won’t dissolve the bond, will she?”
Zohan’s back was to me. Lost in it. “How could she? Everyone knows Charlotte’s obsessed with me. She doesn’t even have a wolf anymore. Leave me, and she can’t survive in the pack.”
“I promised my parents I’d carry on Oakley’s line. Giving you a cub is the least I can do.”
“If Charlotte refuses to acknowledge your cub, she can forget about me ever touching her again.”
He said it so casually.
Each word was a knife in my chest, twisting.
In our bedroom—mine and his—he was f*cking his dead brother’s mate. And he expected me to raise their bastard cub.
Nausea hit. I can’t stand it anymore. I kicked the door open.
The crash made Zohan yank out of Grace in a panic. Cum spilled across the sheets.
When he saw me, he lost it. “Charlotte! What the hell! Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”
I laughed. It came out bitter.
“You messaged me to talk. You think I wanted to walk in on this?”
He froze, glanced at his phone, then at Grace. She looked helpless and fragile. His expression softened immediately. He rounded on me.
“Charlotte, are you done? Grace was trying to help us make peace! Who told you to barge in?”
“And my parents came over to talk some sense into you, and you threw them out!”
“Let me make this clear. Even if we’re bonded, which woman I sleep with is none of your business, you wolf-less waste.”
I nodded calmly.
“Then let me make this clear too. Even if we’re bonded, you don’t get to stop me from dissolving it.”
His eyes went wide with shock.
Then he snorted. “Don’t forget, Charlotte. Your father’s life was paid for with my brother’s.”
“If I hadn’t bonded with you, Blood Moon Pack would’ve fallen apart years ago.”
Seeing me silent, he thought he’d won. His voice softened, generous.
“Behave yourself. Stop targeting Grace. Once she has the cub, I’ll make it up to you double next anniversary.”
I just stared at him. I found it absolutely ridiculous.
My mother finally snapped. “Zohan, even if Blood Moon Pack isn’t what it used to be, we still have our clan’s resources. Who the hell do you think you are to look down on us?”
His face twisted. He glared at us.
I took Mom’s hand and walked out.
“Zohan. We’re done.”
Behind us, door crashed hard. His voice came through, sharp and shaking.
“Charlotte! If you walk out that door, don’t regret it!”
I kept walking. I pulled my mother along and hurried away.
I thought it was just an empty threat. He’d make the property division difficult, maybe.
But I underestimated him.
It wasn’t until late that night that I learned what he meant by “don’t regret it.”
