He Streamed My Fifth Abortion For Her Chapter 04

The day of the surgery arrived.

At eight o’clock that morning, I was wheeled toward the operating room.

Damien stayed beside me the entire way, holding my hand until we reached the double doors.

He leaned down and kissed my forehead.

“Just go to sleep. It’ll all be over before you know it. I’ll be waiting right here.”

His eyes were slightly red, his expression full of concern.

He had performed this act four times already.

By the fifth, it was still flawless.

The doors closed.

Outside the operating room, Damien sat on a bench and pulled out his phone.

He tapped Video Call.

Vivian answered almost immediately.

“[Has it started?]”

“[Yeah. General anesthesia. About ninety minutes.]”

A faint smile curved her lips.

“[The last one.]”

He nodded.

“[The last one.]”

Forty minutes later, the operating room door cracked open.

A nurse stepped outside.

“Mr. Sterling, your wife’s bleeding more than expected. The surgeon needs to discuss the next step with you.”

Damien disappeared inside.

A few minutes later, he walked back out looking pale.

Caleb grabbed his arm.

“What happened?”

“The uterine wall is too damaged. They can’t stop the bleeding. The doctor recommends removing her uterus.”

Caleb froze.

“Removing it? She’s only twenty-five.”

Damien lowered his eyes to the phone in his hand.

On the screen, Vivian was silent for two seconds before giving a small nod.

“Once it’s gone,” Damien said quietly, “she’ll never have to go through this again.”

Caleb followed his gaze to the phone.

His entire body went rigid.

“What the hell?”

“You’re livestreaming this?”

Damien turned off the screen and walked back to the operating room doors.

“I consent to the hysterectomy.”

After that, every minute stretched into an eternity.

Fifty minutes.

Another nurse hurried out to collect additional blood.

“The blood loss is higher than expected. We’re transfusing now.”

Sixty minutes.

A different nurse passed by, speaking in a hushed voice.

“Her blood pressure keeps dropping. Dr. Arthur Kensington is considering transferring her to the ICU.”

Caleb finally exploded.

“This has to stop! She’ll die if they keep going!”

Damien picked up his phone again.

Vivian’s face filled the screen.

She simply watched him.

She neither nodded…

Nor shook her head.

Damien lowered the phone.

“Continue.”

Caleb slammed his fist into the wall.

“What kind of monster are you?”

Damien said nothing.

One hour and twenty minutes.

The operating room light finally went dark.

The doors swung open.

A gurney rolled out.

The patient lay completely covered by a surgical sheet. An oxygen mask hid most of the face, leaving only a pale chin and strands of dark hair visible.

Damien rushed forward.

He reached out…

…and lifted off the oxygen mask.

The second it came off…

He froze.

Every trace of color vanished from his face.

His pupils dilated.

His mouth fell open as a broken gasp escaped his throat.

Then he whipped around to stare at his phone.

The video call was still connected.

But on the other side…

No one was there.
