They Used My Face To Catfish Rich Men, So I Took Them For Myself Chapter 11

With the comments’ help, finding out Lily’s online boyfriend’s identity was easy.

When our academic advisor reminded everyone to start looking for internships, I’d already been stalking the

Quinn Industries careers page for two weeks.

The moment the CEO’s executive assistant internship was posted, I applied.

I quit The Grandview to take it.

Graham was disappointed and made me swear I’d still make time for him.

The onboarding process was fast.

When three interns were led in front of CEO Harrison Quinn, his gaze lingered on my face for two extra

seconds.

I clenched my fists.

Just as the comments had said-this one was the toughest nut to crack.

But then I learned why he’d been so composed.

Lily had already come clean to him weeks ago-she’d admitted the face in the photos wasn’t hers.

Since I worked closely with him, I kept showing up in Harrison’s orbit.

Over three months, I’d orchestrated all kinds of “accidental” touches and even tried the lowest forms of

seduction.

Harrison stayed as cold as a glacier.

I was so frustrated that I broke out in two stress pimples.

Was he really into Lily’s “inner beauty” like the comments claimed?

Remembering how my story was supposed to end, I gritted my teeth.

Forget the other two-I was going to steal Lily’s boyfriend.

From my little cubicle outside the CEO’s office, I glared at Harrison for an entire morning.

Just as I was resigning myself to another day of zero progress, the executive assistant asked me to go pick someone up downstairs.

Who rated that kind of treatment?

When I saw Lily at reception, she didn’t look any more composed than I felt.

Finding out I was interning at Quinn Industries, she looked relieved that she’d come clean early.

Gone was her fake friendliness.

Now she held her chin high, practically looking down her nose at me.

But Harrison’s stone face didn’t change when he saw her either.

I backed out of the office slowly.

The last thing I saw before the door closed was Lily reaching to hug him.

I was annoyed.

Why couldn’t the comments show up now?

The door opened again within minutes.

Lily walked out smiling, clinging to the executive assistant’s arm.

“Harrison said there’s a company celebration tonight-he invited me to come.”

The whole group headed to the booked venue.

I sat in a corner, fending off random guys trying to chat me up.

Lily sat down beside me with a glass of wine.

“Sophie, I’m going to be your boss’s girlfriend from now on. If you need anything, just let me know-I’ll put in

a good word.”

She handed me the glass.

Before I could refuse, I caught a comment and drank it down in one go.

Muttering about going to the bathroom, I slipped away.

As an assistant, I knew Harrison had a regular suite at The Grandview.

I crept up there.

Tonight, I was going to find out if he actually had any game.

I knocked twice.

The door swung open.

I was already weak and wobbling.

I fell forward-into a warm, firm chest.

I caught a whiff of Harrison’s signature body wash and nuzzled into him.

Just as I was getting comfortable, he grabbed my shoulders and pushed me back.

I whined about feeling awful and used every ounce of my strength to press against him.

The world spun, and the last thing I heard was “You asked for this.”

I was too sore to remember anything except clawing at him and being completely overpowered.

When I woke up, my entire body ached.
