Aria’s eyes flared with hatred-murderous, wild. Like she could bite through my neck.

But it didn’t last.

All the fight drained out of her, and she collapsed like a rag

doll.

“Let me go… Sophie… please… I was wrong…”

I pretended to hesitate, then nodded. “Fine. It’s simple. Stop using that curse, and the backlash stops too. Then you just age like a normal person-”

Before I could finish, a weak spark flickered in her eyes. “That’s it? I’ll go back to how I looked?”

I didn’t answer. I just looked at her and almost laughed.

Even now, she wasn’t thinking about survival-just getting her pretty face back.

Just as I’d expected. She’d never accept natural aging. All she heard was “the backlash stops.”

“I-I promise!” She nodded frantically, broken sounds rumbling in her throat.

“Good.”

I stood and gave them one last look. “Remember what you said. Next time the backlash hits? I can’t guarantee what happens.”

Then I turned and walked out without a second thought.

But I knew better. Aria would never accept this.

As expected, letting her age like a normal person was worse than death. She didn’t dare use the curse anymore, but she refused to give up.

She poured everything into her face-burned through her savings in no time.

Short on cash, she set her sights on the massive traffic from that “ageless goddess turns into dog monster” scandal. And she took a darker turn.

A few days later, she actually went live again.

She’d glued yellow fur all over her face and, from carefully chosen angles, imitated the snarls of a wild beast.

The title: “Former Ageless Goddess Revealed as Beastkin” hit trending almost immediately.

Morbid curiosity is human nature.

Most viewers treated it like a circus act-comments flooded in with [monster] and [gross]-but her numbers skyrocketed anyway.

The donations rolling in were even more absurd.

Aria had tasted success. She abandoned the “ageless goddess” act and reinvented herself as a freak-show streamer, selling horror and deformity for attention.

She even spun wild stories-claiming she was a poor victim under some ancient curse.

Every cent she earned from donations went straight into more cosmetic procedures.

It was time.

I didn’t go after her stream directly. I chose a more effective way to pull the rug out from under

her.

On a platform with a large female user base, I wrote a post:

Her viewer count tanked. Donations nearly hit zero.

The chat was drowned in hate. Under pressure, the platform permanently banned her account -“violation: promoting black magic and spreading panic.”

Brands cut ties. Some even threatened to sue for fraud.

She was done. Toxic. Everyone wanted to keep their distance.

But Aria couldn’t face the mirror.
