Reborn: I Quit Fighting Aging to Ruin Her Chapter 06 Feed the Curse Back to Her

I grabbed a cab and headed straight for Aria’s place, urging the driver to step on it the whole

way.

Twenty minutes later, I was at her door.

Just as I’d expected-she was covered head to toe in yellow-brown fuzz. Drooping eyelids. Sagging mouth. She looked exactly like that stray dog downstairs that never stopped barking.

She was still frozen in the same position from when her stream got cut. Eliot hadn’t even had the guts to move her.

The second he saw me, he stepped forward, eyes bloodshot. “Sophie! What the hell did you to her?!”

His voice cracked with fear, but he still didn’t dare go near her. Like she wasn’t a person anymore-just something contagious.

I gave him one cold glance, then let my eyes settle on the furry lump on the floor.

Strangely, I didn’t feel angry. Just tired. Like the dust had finally settled.

I pulled out my phone, tapped the screen, and brought up last night’s footage-volume maxed.

The video and audio spilled out, clear as day.

“…This’ll get rid of Sophie without anyone finding out?”

“…We buy off a doctor… she’ll die without ever knowing…”

The footage sounded insane, sure. But in this age where anything can go viral in hours, if I posted this-

it would explode.

And even if it wasn’t enough for attempted murder, breaking into my home? That alone was enough to land him in a holding cell.

Eliot went rigid. His face turned white. His lips trembled, but no words came out.

“Sophie… it’s not what you think… let me explain-”

I cut him off. “You want me to let you off the hook?”

Cold smile. Raised brow. “Not impossible.”

Hope flickered in his eyes. He nodded frantically. “Anything! Just tell me!”

I pointed at Aria on the floor, a smirk curling my lips. “Simple. Kiss her. Just like you living room last night.”

“And make it convincing.”

“What?!”

He stared at her-the reeking, drooling mess on the ground-and gagged.

“No! No way! That’s disgusting! I can’t!”

I laughed. “Disgusting? Funny. Last night you couldn’t keep your hands off her.”

did in my

“Wasn’t it her face you loved so much? Go ahead. Maybe a kiss will bring your goddess back.”

I gave my phone a little shake-a silent threat.

Eliot shook like a leaf, terror and revulsion twisting his face.

Finally, with the grim resolve of a man walking to his execution, he dragged himself toward her.

He bent down, trembling, his lips inches from her hideous face-

Aria’s eyes snapped open.

“Save… save me… Eliot… please…”

She slurred out, barely audible.

Eliot froze. The last scrap of courage evaporated. He looked at me-desperate, pleading.

I watched the grotesque scene unfold, then spoke.

“Feels ridiculous, doesn’t it? Sickening? Aria, don’t you want to know how your little curse backfired on you?”

Her pupils shrank.

I pulled up a chair and sat down, taking my time. “Remember that stray dog downstairs? The one you always complained about? Tried to poison more than once?”

She wasn’t stupid. She put it together fast.

That’s right. Half an hour before her stream-

I smeared the serum on a piece of beef and tossed it to the stray.

Ingesting it worked way faster than applying it topically.

The dog’s eyebrows turned white almost instantly-clear signs of aging.

But the dog didn’t notice. It just kept devouring that delicious meat.

It had no idea its “dog face” was about to be transferred to the beauty streamer who was blowing up online.
