My Meek Desk Mate Is the Secret School Tyrant Chapter 01

After transferring to a trash school, I picked the easiest target in class to bully so no one would bully me first.

I stole his breakfast. Drank his water. Cornered him at the gate after school and smacked his face.

Played tough. No one touched me.

Until the day I watched my helpless little punching bag slam a guy into the ground and step on his chest. The guy had harassed me.

“You’ve got some nerve. Messing with the bully of our school?”

The guy on the ground looked dazed. “Aren’t you the bully?”

Orion Cole bent down. The smile didn’t reach his eyes. “Not me.”

Then he said my name.

My parents’ job relocation forced me into a trash school.

How trash? Out of the whole grade, only one group of kids actually studied.

The good news? I was with them.

The bad news? Even they had a bullying problem.”

My friend warned me a bookworm like me was prime bully bait. If I wanted to survive, I had to look like someone not worth messing with.

“Do I look scary enough?”

I puffed out my cheeks and tried to glare.

My friend gave me a pained smile. “You look like a pufferfish, baby. The kind that puffs up and floats away when someone pokes it.”

A full week at this school. No one had bullied me yet. But everyone looked at me weird. Almost pitiful. And no one talked to me.

Was this the calm before the bullying storm? I stressed about it constantly.

Then I had an idea.

What if this soft little pushover found an even softer pushover to push around?

I scouted. I debated. I weighed my options.

My eyes landed on the guy next to me. Asleep. Again. Right next to me.
