I bit my lip and smiled.

Honestly, I’d thought about it before.

Before things started with Damon, I’d found Dylan pretty hot too.

The next day.

Damon went out to scavenge.

I was wandering around the base when I ran into Dylan again.

He had dark circles under his eyes, looking completely drained-like he hadn’t slept all night.

“What’s up? Still going to throw me to the zombies?” I teased, raising an eyebrow at him.

Dylan shook his head.

I stepped past him.

Suddenly, his hand grabbed mine.

“About what you said last night-did you mean it?”

I turned back, confused. “What did I say?”

Dylan’s eyes darted away, and he stammered.

“You asked if I wanted to join in…”

Dylan actually liked me?

“If you’re worried about him minding, we could do it in private…”

“I won’t tell him…”

His voice faded to a whisper.

Seeing him so vulnerable tugged at my heartstrings. I reached out and gently touched his cheek.

“I’ll… think about it.”

To be honest, it wasn’t impossible.

It’s only two guys, after all…
