My Three Roommates Used My Photos to Catfish Three Elite Alphas Chapter 12

My desk was in a small cubicle just outside the CEO’s office.

I spent the entire morning secretly watching Adrian, but I still couldn’t find a way to get close to him.

Just as I was running out of ideas, the secretary asked me to go downstairs and meet a guest.

I was still wondering who could be important enough for me to greet personally when I reached the lobby and saw Sophia.

She looked just as startled as I felt when she saw me.

Once she learned that I was interning at the Blackwood Group, she was clearly relieved that she had confessed the truth about the photos to Adrian in advance.

She no longer bothered pretending to be friendly like she used to. Instead, she lifted her chin and made no attempt to hide her smugness.

Fortunately, Adrian still wore the same cold expression when he saw her.

The last thing I saw before leaving his office was Sophia opening her arms and trying to hug him.

I couldn’t help feeling frustrated.

Of all times, the comments chose that moment not to appear.

Less than two minutes later, the office door opened again.

Sophia walked out with a smile on her face.

She looped her arm affectionately through the secretary’s.

“Adrian said the company is holding a celebration dinner at the Fairmont tonight, and he invited me too.”

That evening, a group of us arrived at the hotel’s ballroom.

I sat alone in a corner and turned down several young male wolves who came over to flirt with me.

Sophia approached with a glass of wine and sat beside me.

“Erin, Adrian already sees me as his future fiancée.”

“If you ever have trouble at work, you can come to me. I’ll put in a good word for you with Adrian.”

With that, she held the glass out to me.

I was about to refuse when comments suddenly floated across my vision.

[Sophia is finally making her move. She slipped a pheromone stimulant into the wine, something that will drive Erin’s wolf into a frenzy.]

[Once Erin drinks it, she will completely lose control. The heroine has already arranged for hotel security to show up, so everyone will see her disgrace herself.]

[Adrian despises she-wolves who lose control. If Sophia’s plan works tonight, it won’t matter how beautiful Erin is.]

After reading the comments, I reached out, took the glass, and drank every drop.

A flash of satisfaction crossed Sophia’s face.

I used the restroom as an excuse and quickly slipped out of her sight.

As his intern, I knew Adrian kept a suite reserved year-round at the Fairmont.

When the drug kicked in, my wolf snarled restlessly inside me, and my white tea and cedar scent spiraled completely out of control.

Using the wall for support, I made my way to his door.

The moment I knocked a second time, the door was suddenly pulled open.

I had no strength left, and I lost my balance and fell straight forward.

My forehead struck his warm, solid chest.

The scent of black cedar and mint gave my frantic wolf a target to lock onto.

I grabbed his shirt and nearly pressed myself into his arms.

The next second, Adrian gripped both my shoulders and pushed me back slightly.

His eyes instantly turned cold.

“Who dosed you with a pheromone stimulant?”

I felt so awful that I couldn’t form a complete sentence. All I could do was keep trying to move closer to him.

The Alpha pressure surrounding him felt dangerous, yet it was also the only thing that seemed capable of helping me breathe again.

Before my mind went completely blank, I heard him murmur, “Erin, remember. You were the one who came into my room.”
