Julian’s first reaction was to find Leah.

But in the next second, he saw Vanessa.

Her eyes were red.

She looked terrified, like a trembling rabbit, but still forced out a brave smile.

“Are you going to find Leah?”

“It’s okay.”

“You don’t have to care about me.”

“I can be alone.”

Julian paused for a few seconds.

In the end, he pulled back his foot.

“I’m not going anywhere.”

“I’ll stay with you.”
